I just wish RTO would come out at this point.
How long are/were you busy with DA:O?

Five full play-throughs and about 350 total hours of game play. Before I started my sixth, I looked up all the side quests on WikiCheat and was shocked to see that there was several that I had never encountered. So - this time I'm about 40 hours into the game and not even half way through.

I spend a lot of time on the dialogue and exploring. LOL I keep finding new cut scenes, so I keep going back for more. It's like a movie I can control to some extent.
The kids have a snow day today -- wish I did so I could keep playing!

I'm still on my first playthrough, not using any cheats, mods, etc, and as of last night, I think it said that I have been playing for ~28 hours. Then I saw that the game status thing said that I had only played/seen something like 20% of the game.
I don't particularly rush things, but I think this game can go on for quite a long time depending on how you like to play, how in depth you allow the conversations to get, etc. I talk to everyone, and keep talking until they have nothing left to say. Some of them can get quite lengthy, but the writing in this game is very well done, so it never feels like a chore listening to them ramble on.
That is, of course, my opinion!

i'm a completionist so my 1st time through ate up about 78 hours. then i spent ~20 hours running through the other origins and such and trying out different builds. currently i'm at about 32 hours at the landsmeet and unlikely to pick it up again.

I'm still not through. Then suddenly I realized I was playing on Nightmare difficulty for how long I don't know. Now I'm proceeding on normal, and all this time after release the game is starting to make fun (I had also fun in the beginning when it was apparently still on normal). So you're probably going to have weeks or months of fun, unless something like that happens to you.

Well, since the game takes an average 50 hours of play to finish it ,It took me like 100 hours to finish it ,because I had loads of fun discovering the quests in the codexes ,equipping my party properly, doing all the stuff that's needed. The game extends past this because if you're an achievement hunter ,well ...150+ hours isn't a joke anymore. Not to mention replayability to that too.

Ive done 175 hours since release day (which is a LOT for me). Im having a break now though until RtO is released and ive finished with mass effect 2 which i will only play through once, despite mass effect being awesome there isnt much replay there for me, and then its back to DA with a vengeance!

I completed the game 6 times, each with an average time of 25 hours. +2 runs incomplete at +- 10-12 hours, so overall, 170+ I guess.

My DAO play time stats:
Lvl 18 Human Noble Rogue = 132 hours played (World Explored: 65%) on 4th Treaty Quest at Ortan Thaig, all DLC completed.
Lvl 17 Human AW Mage = 89 hours (World Explored: 56%), on 3rd Treaty Quest post-Dead Trenches but still pre-Haven, all DLC completed.
Lvl 10 Dalish Elf Warrior = 50 hours (World Explored: 25%), on 2nd Treaty Quest at Redcliffe Castle, Soldier's Peak DLC complete.
Lvl 3 Dwarf Noble Rogue = 4 hours (World Explored: 5%), at Ostagar, pre-Korcari Wilds.
I tend to do as many side-quests as possible and will quite happily have one or more main quests on the go at a time, as in the case of my Mage. I like to take my time with PC RPGs and have never quite understood the 'compulsion' to run through them as quickly as possible. Mind you, I'm probably just a slow player.
I'm also playing the Dalish Elf with my daughter, so we sometimes take a bit of time for her to decide what she wants the Warden to do/say, which adds to our play time as well.

I've regularly deleted playthroughs. First on PS3 and now on PC, so I don't know my exact playtime, but I have been playing since release pretty much all day everyday, minus two holiday days and I may have played some then too. So what's 12 to 16 hours x however many days since release? I don't feel like doing math because I need to.... save the mages now.

85 hours for my first and only playthrough. Enjoyed the game and my time but all the issues with Support/Textures/Patching/DLC etc turned me off completely and I turned and ran. Sad day for me because I love(d) BioWare
Still worth the money I paid for it..considering all things.

Good grief! Over 450 hours in this game so far. 4 characters have finished (a couple of them with 2 different endings) and I have 9 others in various stages. I love exploring all the subtle nuances in the game.

The nuances are what has drawn me into my DA:O addiction! The way every decision can change something... It';s just been a blast to try new things. I don't know what I'm going to do tonight because Hubby will want to play. LOL I guess I'll just heckle form the sidelines.

111 hours and some, first playthrough. Now 'am startin' second...but wont be doing it all I suppose...most of the sidequests I find uninteresting doing again...just got out of Lothering and think I'm beggining to loose interest.
