Okay, so you choose not to help her at the Landsmeet, she chooses not to help you at the Landsmeet as a result. Sounds pretty fair to me.Tirigon wrote...

So what? She still betrays you.
And if you try to make Alistair king without talking them into marriage.
She tells you not to blow her cover, doesn't sound very intelligent of a "good warrior" to then turn around and announce at the door your armored companion is Anora.Telling a guard that your "crimes" were in fact the rescue of the queen from imprisonment and probable execution is not really idiot-like. You try to convince a good warrior to see you are the good boys and Howe was a traitor who would have been executed anyways, had he survived.... That is what every intelligent person would do. After all, murdering Howe was NOT a crime, since treachery - and imprisoning the rightful queen without reason counts as that - is punishable by death in Ferelden. Not to mention Howe´s slaughter of the Couslands.
Considering that every instance she can "betray" you is instigated by you screwing her over first, I don't see how that's really fair to begin with, but whatever, it's your playthrough, not mine.Besides, do I care for her reasons? She betrays me - she dies (or would, if the game would allow it). That easy.

@Squiggles: So, basically you are saying it´s all right to betray people who do not support you or disobey your command - which you have no right to give? I hope for you your business partners don´t read this topic:P

Well, Godwin is obviously right.

Yeah, ignoring that whole Queen thing there's no reason to listen to her!

I knew some smart arse was eventually going to mention Godwin's Law... I think there should be a new Law stating that some clever clogs WILL shout 'Godwin's Law!' the minute someone so much as mentions Hitler

Anora will sometimes backstab you even if you went to jail like a good little mouse AND told her you would support her for queen - if when she asks about her father you say that justice needs to be served.
More along the lines that you shouldn't act surprised or indignant that someone screws you over as a response to screwing him or her over first.Tirigon wrote...

She is queen.
I´m the one with an army and the power to save her f*cking ass - and Ferelden from the Blight, on a sidenote. And my elf mage was in love with Alistair, the true King of Ferelden.
What is more important?

Well, my utter dislike of excusing tyrants (even if it´s only in a video game) fuels my enthusiasm to compare a tyrant to Hitler whenever possible.

It´s called "Obtusifolius´ law" from now on and has been written in the memories. It shall forever be in power, on the same rank and importance as the gravitation.

True, but usually your father is not a Traitor who is responsible for the death of thousands, including the king - who is her husband, by the way.
"Normal" is a word not really fitting to this case.

So everyone that is not in a democratic country is basically Hitler? Meh, I've gone through this one many times and tire of it. It is about as rewarding as discussing if god is real.
