RL friends? I'm... unfamiliar with the concept. Is there an RL friends list like there is on Xbox Live? I've never been able to find the HUD in RL either, so I have no idea what my health and shields are at any given time. It's frustrating.

I had one, but he's since moved on to Halo. Most of the people I play ME3 with now I've met over XBL.

A couple. My boyfriend introduced me to the game a while back, so I play mostly with him while learning new characters. This has become our living room setup haha.

What does it take to get a lady interested in this game? I've been asking her to try it out but she doesnt seem interested :S

Well, we started off playing games like portal 2 together. It was so much fun having that time together and a shared excitement over a game that I began asking him which game I should play next. He was (well, is) constantly talking about mass effect (books, games, whatever) so I felt that I already knew enough about it to stay interested.

It was frustrating at first but he started me off as a human engineer against cerberus on dagger until I was comfortable enough to try other things. His patience made all the difference between loving the game and giving up.

What does it take to get a husband interested in playing Multiplayer anything with me? If I knew the secret to that I'd have the perfect marriage! I'm sure my husband is on another forum asking what will it take for his wife to finally really understand all and any sports he enjoys and prefer to watch television with him instead of giggling in gamer parties and shooting goddamned enemies FTW. :lol:

Sadly, no. My friends aren't into gaming at all. I tried to get my brother into it, but he's only playing WoW. :(

no, those jerks refuse to give it a real chance. they are pretty much on COD until further notice. we did get in some solid time on BL2 and a tiny bit on Halo 4. sucks, but when my friends get involved, i spend even more time in front of the tv which isn't the best...

Nope. My friends are mostly sports nerds like me, and the few who game don't really play Mass Effect much.

No... Actually, I'm the only person that kept playing this game on the PS3, where I live... if the Challenge Points are to be believed...

Nope. Tried to recruit a few who played the SP, but the necessity of downloading all those patches to be up to date made them balk. Ironic really, the same patches that male the game fresh and enjoyable for long term players basically lock out newcomers.

A few. One of them started on PS3, before I got him to switch to X-Box with me, though he's been playing Halo 4. Another has it on PC, but only plays SP so far. A few others tried the demo, but didn't buy the game. Oh, and my sister plays it.
So yes and no.

Well, I technically know them in real life, but I only talk to them on Xbox, so I don't know.

None of them know this game. Its quite lonely for me. I dont think Anybody from my high school played any game from the series.

Its weird how I started. Last year during Christmas time, I bought mass effect 2 on impulse because I heard someone talk about it at a gamestore. Lucky me! I have enjoyed the series ever since.

So I actually introduced myself to this game, thus not having any real life friends that play with me.

I have one. We like just messing around alone in silver together.
