What could this next DLC possibly be about if it is not The IT??? Could it finally be a Conventional Victory? or will Shepard's crew find him?

We have a high probability of mid-game DLC with a chance of speculations

I wouldn't be surprised if they added Hanar to multiplayer because of that overplayed "joke".

You could interpret the information currently available as possibly pointing to a more palatable and effective sendoff, given that the writers and composers are gathering for it. Speculation is a fool's errand at this point, though.

As much as I wish it were: it won't be ending related at all... it will be another pointless side-quest to give you some more worthless EMS points, nothing more.

Possible but unlikely. They have yet to add a friendly Marauder, for example.

I read somewhere that all signs are pointing to the possibility of us being able to control one of our squadmates. Could this be an ending where we find Shepard alive on the Citadel and finally get our happy ending? "high potential for tears" does not necessarily have to mean sad tears you know?
A find Shepard DLC would be cool, but what happens to those who's canon ending is control or synthesis?

They could still do it. You'd find Half-reaper Shep at the end of a Control scenario, and some other resoltution for Synthesis.
Having said that, I don't expect this to happen at all.
Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised that way, but I think it'll be some nonsensical sidestory DLC.

As such, the DLC will probably have no significant impact on anything and will thus be utterly pointless, just like Omega *sigh*.

Yeah, I'm sure if they gave it time they could write something. Just since everyone wants the 'find shepard' dlc, i don't think its real fair if the people who like control/synthesis would be excluded in this event.
I'd much prefer a DLC that allows conventional victory with really high EMS or something.
My expectations are up for this DLC, but like I said with the EC in May last year, whatever happens will more or less determine if I keep invested in the series :/

I think it's far more likely we get to go to the Citadel with our squadmates and evac people as the reapers start their assault to take it. Maybe we'll see the deaths of Bailey, other minor characters.
The ending is the ending. Time to accept that.

I highly doubt it will be IT, conventional victory or 'find Shepard'. They're not going to release a DLC that only adds content to the games of players who got high-EMS Destroy. That's screwing over everyone else (as much as I think Destroy is the best and should be the canon ending). Conventional victory and IT are both too much like 'changing the endings' which they've said they won't do.

Oh wait: those did have an effect, making a mess even more convoluded and stupid...

Most likely. And while I will accept that Bioware doesn't want to write any more in the ME universe, I will NEVER accept that cr*p as canon. They could have done better, and chose not to. If I ever come back to the game, it will be because someone figured out how to create a Marauder Shields-style mod.
