What could this next DLC possibly be about if it is not The IT??? Could it finally be a Conventional Victory? or will Shepard's crew find him?

I think it's far more likely we get to go to the Citadel with our squadmates and evac people as the reapers start their assault to take it. Maybe we'll see the deaths of Bailey, other minor characters.
Sadly, this is exactly what I've been picturing for months.
I have a feeling this is exactly what we're going to see.
Hope I'm wrong but...

Your still furthering the legend that is shepard, but that's pre-ending not post therefor it's standalone missions like omega/leviathan....a few sentances may be added with the little kid but you will still have to pick your fave colour afterwards....... 1200mp, 2hrs40mins,pew pew, shed a tear but not......the end
Maybe we'll get to have a game of riddles with the kid, and if it loses, we eats it whole.

I'm hoping they're going to wow us with something awesome, but I held the same hope for the EC.

I read somewhere that all signs are pointing to the possibility of us being able to control one of our squadmates. Could this be an ending where we find Shepard alive on the Citadel and finally get our happy ending? "high potential for tears" does not necessarily have to mean sad tears you know?

The ending is the ending. Time to accept that.

Hence that "high potential for tears" comment about this DLC's music. Or maybe we'll just see more children get massacred. Huzzah.

Doing a mission to evac the citadel would make little to no sense as you don't find out that the citadel was attacked till the end of the cerberus base mission. Also it was said at the end of that mission that the citadel was moved to earth already.
Exactly! People don't seem to get that. And if you do it earlier, it won't make sense

Valid point. They'd have to retcon that bit of conversation with the prothean AI.
What else could it be? Certainly not IT. If it's citadel related (per Omega datamining) and sad (per music comment), what else fits?

Well they going to squeeze all they can out of the dlc's and speculation cash cow and end that cycle rather it be March during the end of the year cycle or if more time was need for their "final" dlc in April(they made a public statement around the time the founders retired the end date was not firm)perhaps due to the month or so into Extended Cut writing and finalized or so may be anything from a $20 dlc or a likely overpriced expansion disk as long as the numbers are in the net gain to protect their brand and name of EA and Bioware IT is possible or a conventional victory is possible.

My hope is maybe have post ending content tha differs between endings...maybe with an actual reunion for people who got the high-EMS destroy. Other endings would have your squadmates discover Shepard's fate.

But if Bio really wanted to, they could change these things. With the DLC installed you find out that the attack on the Citadel is imminent, without the DLC it's already happened.
I don't think Bio's going to do this, but it's not impossible for them to do it.

It's not inconceivable. This wouldn't be changing the endings themselves, so Bio hasn't ever ruled this out.

I actually hope not. The ending sequence is already long as it is, the game needs more meat before the point-of-no-return, not added to the ending (which already takes much longer with EC stuff).AlanC9 wrote...

we were also told that the decision to save or kill the Rachni would vastly alter the game.Seival wrote...
