Hi there. I have got to the point in the game where I can start the Landsmeet. I know that once I do I will not be able to finish this quest. It is the only quest I have left to do. But it wont start. I have been to every Mages Collective bag in the game and it is not available anywhere. I have completed all the other Mages Collective quests. Is there something specific Im supposed to do to trigger it and if not is there a fix for this anywhere

Does starting the landsmeet mean about to go to Redcliffe to tell Arl Eamon to call it, or about to walk into the Landsmeet building? The quest will still be able to be completed up until you walk into the Landsmeet itself.
Have you finished all other Mages Collective quests? One of them can't be finished until you get into the alienage. You won't get the last Mages quest until all the other ones are done.

About to start it means I finished the Elven Alienage but have not spoken to Arl Eamon in his estate yet.
As far as I know I have finished all the other Mages Collective quests. There are none available at any of the bags in the game and I have all the ones listed in the Prima guide on my completed quests list

Which templar did you give the lyrium too? I wonder if it makes a difference in terms of this quest popping up. I've always gone with the guy in Redcliffe.

I turned the mages in. Maybe I cant do it if I sided with the Templars?

That would make sense. If you want to work with the collective, don't work against the collective.

That does make sense. It just didnt occur to me because the Prima guide has an "if you turned the mages in" clause in how to do the quest

This time through I'll have to try that side and see what happens. (Character is a dwarf anyways, what do they care for mages)
Interestingly enough if you want turn the mages in you don't have to worry about doing the quest before Landsmeet, because the guy you need to talk to is in Denerim, which you can continue to access until the final battle sequence of events kicks off. But if the quest isn't showing up before the Landsmeet I can't figure it would show up afterwards.

im having this problem too, but, even if you turn in the mages to the guy in denerim, you get a quest (except you wont be defending the mages as you would if you bribred the guy in Redcliffe, or so i have read) but yes, i cannot get it to come up anywhere, and i have done EVERYTHINg... its the last quest i have (other than waiting for ostagar expansion) so id like to get it finished, anyone have any ideas?

I'd suggest one of you guys post in the spoilers forum to see if anybody on any platform has actually gotten this last quest if they turned the mages in during the first one. Is it never available, or is maybe broken on the PC, or a more isolated problem.

It looks like you cannot do Defending OR Defying the Collective if you gave the Lyrium to the guy in Demerim. Thats what I was told in the thread I made in the spoilers forum

For Landsmeet , you must have aid of Dwarves , Dalish Elves , Redcliffe and Mages. Every quest is complicated. After you made them all , you must go to Denerim , Arl Eamon's estate.

Says after giving potions to Tavish you can STILL give potions to Harrith. Maybe this is what you need to do
