Replace 1 Power For Each class!

If you could replace one power of each class, what would you choose.


There is just one stipulation. You can't replace with one of the bonus powers.


You don't have to be faithful to the lore, but it helps.Image IPB

Soldier: Replace Frag grenade with multi-frag grenade.
Sentinel: Replace cryo blast with snap freeze. 

Engineer: Replace cryo blast with tactical scan.
Infiltrator: Replace sticky grenade with arc grenade.

Adept: Replace (hard one since I love all 6 powers). I guess shockwave. Replace shockwave with biotic sphere.
Vanguard: Replace cryo ammo with disruptor ammo!

I am not sure I would want to outright replace any abilities for any of the classes. I would rather re-engineer some of them.

Vanguard - shockwave with lift grenades. I love the Asari Vanguard kit in MP, and would not mind replicating it in SP. Even though grenade limitations and balance changes may make it less effective in SP.

Sentinel - Cryo Blast with Snap Freeze could be fun

Vanguard or Adept - Replace shockwave/singularity with annihilation field. I know dropping singularity might be a little crazy, but I could get by without or with Liara's.

That's all I can think of right off the top. I really should be working right now...

Vanguard: Replace Shockwave with Reave/Warp and Nova with Lift/Cluster grenade

I could write an essay on the subject, and started to, but it wouldn't be all that productive.  And I think I have made long posts on it in the past.

In general it would be things like adding Accuracy and Stability bonuses into Combat Mastery, increasing Disruptor Ammo's bonus to Barriers and Shields...

Then there is something like Tac Cloak which needs a minimum c/d increase, base c/d increase, and incompatibility with Marksman.

Combo system revisions:  Biotic primers changed to Singularity, Warp, Reave, and Dark Channel.  Biotic detonators changed to Warp, Slam, Nova, Flare and Shockwave.  Throw, Pull and Charge now completely physics based.

Fire Explosion change probably went too far for SP and it should probably be rolled back.

Reduce the number of talent points Shep receives from Level 31 to 40 to 2 (same as Rank 1-30).  This reduces his total points at level 60 to 161 (from 181).  Correspondingly, stretch the squadmate break to 40 as well.  This would reduce their total number at Level 60 to 80 (from 90).

Weapons need to be visited since the balance is all over the place in SP (some overpowered guns, some underpowered ones, etc).

Vanguard: Shockwave with Throw.

Adept: Shockwave for just about anything else. Or Singularity with the multiplayer Singularity. Or Mass Effect 2's Singularity.

Engineer: Combat Drone for Mass Effect 2's Awesome Drone.

Infiltrator: Sticky Grenades for Overload, just so we can officially replace the Engineer and be done with it.

Sentinel: Lift Grenades for Sabotage. Might as well try to make him better than both the Adept and Engineer while we are at it.

Soldier: Frag Grenade for... something. Not sure what. Proximity Mine is a bonus power, so that is against the official stipulations of this thread.

Haha I know right? I think it would be hilarious, but we'd need to bump the difficulty 200% to make it halfway challenging. I'd still have fun with it though.

My favorite class is the engineer class. I find Sentry Turret underwhelming so I would switch that out for Recon Mine.

Combat Drone
Recon Mine
Overload
Incinerate
Cryo Blast
Sabotage

I would also like to return Combat Drone to its former glory in ME2. Than this class would be perfect for me.

Recon Mine is my favorite power. It is less contestant for cooldowns, allowing for power synergy, and is similar to a power I suggested before Recon Mine came out for Retaliation. If you remember my Terminus Pack, the Turian Infiltrator had a power called "Remote Charge", that worked almost exactly like Recon Mine, but without the enemy detection and with altered evolutions. I don't know if Bioware "listened", or it was purely coincidence, but I'm glad that Bioware implemented Recon Mine.

I would love to use it in SP as Shepard, moreso than other MP powers. If Bioware were to release all MP-specific powers to SP as a DLC pack, I would purchase it as soon as it became available. Hell, they should do that for the next SP DLC.

Seriously:
Asari Adept: replace throw with reave or singularity
Asari Justicar: replace pull with warp

Sarcasm...
Turian Sentinel: replace tech armor with combat roll
Turian Soldier: replace concussive shot with combat roll

Trolling (jokes)
Turian Ghost: replace stim pack with pull, replace cloak with frag grenades and replace overload with cryoblast (I fukn HATE this class)
Geth Infiltrator: replace proximity mine with tech armor, replace cloak with missile launcher and keep hunter mode (I HATE this class just as much)
All infiltrators: replace cloak with instant death... People need to play something else than god damned infiltrators!! lol
