Didn't notice a lot of obvious fake CGI, it reminded more of the excorsist in terms of special effects which is a good thing.

If you've seen the originals you can watch this trailer and not be spoiled, if you haven't watched it, skip the trailer and watch the film instead.

Actually, there's not a single frame of CGI in the remake...

Which means that they did a really good job with traditional effects if you thought there was!
