How much rush hour traffic does this thing actually see?
So why does the Mako have brake lights?

Eh they probably based it on a real world tank and many of those have break lights.

Well i'd assume that in the alliance military there would be long lines of Mako's carrying troops to different destinations. You wouldn't want them to run into each other so they have to have break lights.
