I remember melting when Stardusk started to talk, though...dat voice. Of course, I'd to lag and act like a moron. :/

Lag and my micless status is why I tend to only add brazilians from here.

I've played with a few active forumites, including a few matches with OP....never nervous, actually quite happy to know there are quality players around me and I can play a little more loosely....have at least 1 great friendship that has come from a first time with a forumite.

Apparently so, and I didn't even realize it! Oh, my.

It does take me back to memories of the old weekend operations, when the PS3 had no splash screen, and operations that required any type of teamwork or special character in the squad led to my making threads for PS3ers here to exchange IDs and hook up to get the operations done, instead of hoping it would happen amongst PUGs.

Always tried to make myself available for help - I think that's where Loki came from, actually, was one of those operation ID exchanges.

But looking back at that after all these folks' stories in this thread, it's sort of making me feel less like I was a helpful citizen and more like I was a...

Nope. I was a lowly Silver player looking to improve and my first game was with Ashen Earth. He gave me some tips and I kept moving forward from there.

 Uh Cold was the first BSNer that I played with. I wasn't particulary nervous but I felt relieved that a PUG would go fine for once. It was one of the easiest gold runs I had ever done.

I play solely with the PS3 Alliance Hazard Force. so I'm always playing with BSNers. Lotta great people in this group, I can't imagine being nervous playing with them, especially since I use my mic a lot. The only thing I worry about is them eventually getting sick of hearing me go on and on about how awesome the Volus, Wraith, and fire explosions are. Also I laugh like an idiot whenever I see lift grenades sent a group of Cannibals flying away at mach two or my Paladin melees a trooper off stage.

No, I wasn't nervous the first time I played with a BSN'er. My first time was playing with Datdude1970 for that weekend challenge ages ago where we couldn't use consumables and as we'd chatted on the forums and stuff before the match, I wasn't nervous at all
