Nervous? No....
More like jelly when I saw Zjarcal flaunt that Indra VII (I think) when I didn't have one yet at that time. This was awhile ago btw.
Were you nervous your first time...

I still don't come here to recognize people that much, but I doubt I would be nervous.

I found both DullahansxMark and Mendelevosa in PUGs before. Not in the same one though. I didn't realize it until after the game ended. I died a lot with Mark, I think they were playing vanilla Asari Adept, and I don't remember what I was. Sorry Mark.

The first I recognized was in a bronze match many months ago. I wasn't nervous. It was bronze.

I have BSNers on my FL but have yet to play with them. I keep ending up in parties with other people.
Plus it's not in my nature to invite really.

GP was the first BSN person I played with. Sometime around May. It was about 2am, and I decided to play one more game. U/U/Gold. The lobby screen loaded, and I almost sh*t myself when I saw onewinged4ngel was the only other person there! Lobby was Glacier/Cerberus. The game went horrible! We failed by the end of Wave 6. I was absolutely terrible. Folded under the pressure. He played great, but probably gave up on us out of annoyance. I never played that bad with any other forumite before or since. I don't know...
I ran into GP again months later, him waiting in a Glacier/Cerberus/Platinum lobby. Basically the exact same story as before. I played terrible. We wiped at the end of Wave 6. I talked with him afterwards, but I never saw him again. I'm not sure if he even plays anymore. Too bad. He was a great contributor to this forum. We need people like him here, instead of all this epeen and stupidity tainting this forum. Now that I think about it, I don't blame him for leaving this circus. BSN is a shell of what it used to be...

I ran into Rokayt a number of months ago when I started doing silvers. Wasn't nervous cause I didn't really use BSN, that and I wouldn't have known it was him anyway because he uses two completely different names.

I've run into a few, and they've all been good experiences. Can't remember the first, but I can't say I was nervous.
The most recent would be a couple of games with Uh Cold, and I can say that's the first time I literally stopped trying to kill things because he always got em first. I just kept hitting everything I could with stasis.

Not at all, I started playing with BSN'ers back in the demo days most of whom are no longer active on the boards mind you
I remember that thread where you were looking for friends on Origin. Yeah, I think you might be the oldest survivor on my friendslist. You may well have been my first, Bryan. And I wasn't nervous at all

No. Played with some of the best, and still played the way I do with N7 20 players.
Doesn't matter. There are no demi gods on this game. If I was to play with Mark Meer, completely different story. That right there IS a celebrity. BSN puts way too much in their wording of what a celebrity is.
People like Ashen Earth aren't "celebrities". Just posters on a site that play a game. Huge difference. Shocker, I know.

If you're nervous playing with someone from BSN, you should really have your head examined, monitored, or just plain removed. They have made enormous strides in medication.

Word up. Got matched with a little known BSNer (I didn't know who he was previous to playing with him) in a PUG Platinum game. He was N7 10,000+, and had almost double my challenge points. It's kind of rare to see someone higher than me in both aspects, and my friend was like, this guy must be a GOD.GallowsPole wrote...

Turns out he was an overly obnoxious little toerag. He kept ****ing about the stupidest things. Easily the ****iest person I've ever come across. I deserve 1000 challenge points for being polite and not calling him out once throughout that match. It was EXTREMELY tempting.
Oh, and he ended on the bottom of the scoreboard. Maybe he was nervous though. -shrug-
I really hope he sees this.

Seems most of the BSN players have a different ID name so it was only some time later that I realised that I had played with them

Nope because I never know what people that I'm playing with that are so bad they get downed as level 20s in bronze multiple times are from BSN and what ones aren't. Sad that the Xbox community for this game seems to be so bad at the game.

Still makes me a little nervous playing with BSN'ers for the first time. Have added some new folks to my FL and audition is a pretty good description of the feeling for me.

Reminds me of the Silver match on Rio two of my MP friends and I had where one of the Top 20 N7 ranked people joined our lobby with a GI. S/he was a reliable-ish player, but scored third. After the match, I looked up the Origin ID and commented my surprise at how highly ranked s/he was over mic, to which both friends replied almost in unison: "I thought he'd be better..."IndoctrinatedSpectre wrote...

Yep. Circa May - jumped into a bronze match with a L8 and was promptly asked if I had a higher level character. I left. That annoyed me to the point where I didn't try a PUG again for about a month.

Let's see, i was actually in 'jolly' mood while playing with Legion members,
RedJohn: GLACIER OR GTFO was his motto i believe, frankly i never liked that map, still he is red and John, i can't be mad at him.
Air Quotes: i saw him in lobby with Krysae before nerfs (i blame my nerves for the reason to quit and not the gun) never met him on battlefield since.

Actually I have played with a BSNer. I think he's more a board stalker than a regular but he's a damn fine wingman.

I met most people in game, then got to know what their BSN name was on here.
So it was more the other way around.
I was REALLY nervous the first time I BSN'd with people I'd met in game....
