You have to wait a bit before the Outrealm Gate appears on the map, it's a few chapters in. Once you can access it, there's an option to purchase maps from there.

I just got the game, and was trying to buy the darn DLC packs. I just can't figure out how to do so, though, because trying the eShop sends me to the game, and the game pre-start menu doesn't seem to help.

You can only buy them from the Outrealm Gate, which shows up after chapter 4 is completed.

The UI in which you buy them is a bit clunky, IMO.

I wouldn't go into the DLC right away, it will be brutal for low characters
but yeah, it opens after Chapter 4

I hate Maribelle, but Brady never got to 'supermage' he just died in his chapter, unless you are suggesting having Morgan be the mage then: how dare you make Morgan related to Maribelle, you monster

I was ganna make Lucina and Owain my OTP since thats how Monarchs tend to roll. (in bed). But the ending seems boring from what Shepen mentioned. Maybe I'll pair her up with Inigo instead or something.

Hm. I've found I actually like Maribelle: don't really have time to explain why, but she a less obnoxious jerk-with-a-heart-of-gold than many Bioware staples, in that her upbringing doesn't quite eclipse her character.

Maribelle and Severa belong on The Real Housewives of Ylisse, or some other stupid reality show equivalent. Their attitudes grate on my nerves, Severa especially. 

One of the first things Maribelle said to my avatar, after finding her reading..

"Reading up? How lovely. I hadn't realized the lowborn read at all!" She DOES apologize, but continues to be condescending and... Maribelle-ish. If she could back up all her talk with being decent in battle, I might begin to accept her.

Nope, she's a turd. 

Severa's near the top of my list of most annoying characters ever. Her voice doesn't help. When a support character kills an enemy and she whines "that was mine", I just want to smack her upside the head. Sadly, she performs well in battle so I look the other way.

Severa's support conversations made me realize what a blessing it was to not have the game fully voiced. I would have gone insane.

I rather like Severa, but then I tend towards tsundere as long as they're not overly violent.

Maribelle... I have issues with her, but he supports with Lissa, Olivia, and Frederik are gold.

So Owain has now mentioned my favorite Fire Emblem character ever, The Simpsons, and now (indirectly, that's his list Lissa's reading) MST3K.. If he starts quoting Clue, my avatar may have to marry him right the hell now.

Speaking of marriage, has anyone used the bride class yet? I switched Nah over to one, which made her supports with Gerome suddenly reek of desperation.

Meh too bad this is on the 3DS only, Wonder if they'll do some remake or 2nd edition for the Wii U Or PC. Not holding my breath on it. Then again maybe someone will make an attachment interface to play 3DS games on the current console as they did with the GBA/GC 64/GB. Not holding my breath on it, but seems like a great game from what I've read here.

Not great enough for me to buy a 3DS though.

I like Merribelle! Shes a clueless snobby uppercrust with good intentions! And have u seen her Supports with Brady? Shes got her less-than-composed side.

Severa on the other hand...Blegh. What a female dog with a capital B. Only Inigo could tame that beast and I feel sorry for him.
