What was everyone's first Fire Emblem?
Mine was Rekka no Ken, I got it when I was in Anderson, SC with my mom and my sister, we went to the Best Buy to get something else and I ended up getting it for my GBA SP, I remember firing it up when we got into the car and it was dark out so I had to turn on the back light.

By Marth they mean Lucina. IIRC there were quotation marks, and the pic had her butterfly mask onShepenwepet wrote...
Interestingly, there was also a North American poll a few weeks ago. The most popular character? Marth. I get it, Smash Brothers, but really? Unless they actually mean someone else, who isn't listed on the poll.

No quotation marks, not on the poll results anyway, but yeah you can tell it's the Lucina version of Marth. None of the future children are on there so I guess they didn't want to put who it is.

Most dudes Ive seen manced Tharja while most of the girls went after Chrom. Cant say Im surprised. Tharja was my first S-Support in the game and Morgan was a beast Sorceress.
There was a character popularity poll done in Japan last year - Tharja won for females with Cordelia second and Chrom won for males with Gaius second. For the kids, the most popular were Lucina and Severa for girls and Owain and Inigo for guys. These results determined who would have fanservicey cutscenes in the Bonds dlcs.
Interestingly, there was also a North American poll a few weeks ago. The most popular character? Marth. I get it, Smash Brothers, but really? Unless they actually mean someone else, who isn't listed on the poll.
The second place character is Walhart. Not quite understanding that. Least favorite playable character is Maribelle, which I do understand.
I think Marth = SPOILERS ____________Lucina. _____SPOILERS
which makes sense I guess. Severa and Lucina have that Mean big sister/loveable big sister vibe respectively which I guess some of the younger players would gravitate to.
And Owain is pure awesome, and Inigo is a bro. Im just happy that the next generation of girls arent attracted to abusive, sparkly vampires.
Walhart follows that same vein the illusive man goes with. Hes an enlightened despot. He thinks hes doing whats right for everyone by murdering everybody. The gray in his character speaks to a lot of us I think.
Personally I dont like Tharja/Cordelia. Tharja's angry, seething stalker and Cordelia is insecure and has codependency issues. X_X maybe Im overanalyzing but this is why Maribelle's my fav s-support. Shes the opposite of both.
Why the hate on Maribelle? I dont get it. :/ Sure shes a healer on a pony but she becomes an anti-mage if she rolls as a valkyrie. She can tank magic like nopony's business. Probably why I paired her up with my MU who is a magehunter build.
Question. Can activated skills stack? Like on one turn Sol, Lethality and Pavise activate all at once. Can that happen? Or is it 1 skill-activated ability per trigger?
EDIT: Anyone mance Olivia with Henry? Theyre so cute!
And one more question.
Whose the last female DLC character?
I know the 3 male ones are Walhart, Validar and Gangrel and the 2 females are Emmeryn and Aversa, but theyres one more blanked out female character wielding two swords. Who is she?

Just one skill activates at a time.

Wipe that smirk off your face, Henry. She's talking about the ring.

"She" is Yen'fay. And there's no Validar. The last one is Priam, who doesn't exist in the story whatsoever.

Not exactly true. Multiple skills can activate at once, but they have a priority scale, with the highest priority taking effect. Leathality has the highest priority, followed by Aether, Astra, Sol, Luna, Ignis, and then Vengance has the lowest.

Although characters may equip multiple offensive Skills with activation rates, only one of these Skills can activate at a given time; the priority of the Skills goes:
Lethality > Aether > Astra > Sol > Luna > Ignis > Vengeance
If Lethality triggers, that's it. If it doesn't, it tries Aether, and so on.
Edit: I get what you mean, but i'm leaving my derp.

BTW, how good is the Astra skill for someone wielding bows?
AND i finally figured out what tricksters are for. Theyre a purely pvp class. They get pass blocks and flood the field then teleport allies pass enemy lines.
Whats ignis good for anyways?

I guess Im ditching Ignis then. My MU is like i mentioned before very anti-mage. I have Ignis and Pavise both of which trigger. So if I want Pavise to trigger 100% of the time for all the times a trigger is possible, its best to have 1 Trigger ability in general.

No. Ignis and Pavise don't have any 'overlap'. Pavaise can only activate when you're hit by a melee weapon, and Ignis activates when you attack. No overlap.
Astra is just as good on a bow as it is on anyother weapon. Five strikes for half damage, with one weapon use.

If you're using a class with good magic and strength(like War Monk, Dread Fighter, or Grandmaster) you get a pretty large boost to damage which will likely kill most enemies.
IMO, the best combat skills(skills that activate when the character hits) are Aether, Ignis, Sol, and Astra. The others are situational at best.

Not sure why you wouldn't but Lethality in there, since it is technically the most damaging skill out there (kinda): Sol is better in terms of a front-line tank to keep them going, but Lethality and Galeforce are the 'end it now, please' combo of the game.

Most of the time, the unit who activates Lethality would have killed the unit anyways. I prefer to add Sol or Aether, so they can heal themselves, and Ignis or Astra are more likely to activate and perform(close to) the same function as Lethality for me.

My new MU build is:
Rally Luck
Rally Skill
Rally Spectrum
Solidarity
Ignis
It makes sure my allies dont get crit-killed.

Why is this a "mistake"? If you don't do that, you miss out on characters.

If you're just planning on having your avatar paired up with Maribelle on the field, maybe ditch Dual Support+, as it makes very little difference with S-supported characters, it only adds 5% to both critical and critical avoid. It's mostly only useful with low-rank supports, or no support at all. However, considering the other skills you'll have are mostly rallies, and Maribelle is not exactly a frontline fighter that would actually be in a spot to use them, Dual Support may in fact be your best choice here.

That skill is such a cheat. If Vaike didn't have more health than who he was fighting he would've been gone. I've already loss Miriel, Cordelia, Ricken, & Kellam, I'm trying not to get anyone else killed.Mahrac wrote...
