So unless anybody here is already following this method to fill the support log, some have found a way to fill the log out in a short time, compared to how it would take by doing it normally.

Feh, I got this.
Average time completion using this strategy: 160 Hours
Normal time completion without any strategy: over 9000 Hours"
Hear that sound? That's my resolve crumbling. Really, though, I do have a sort of strategy, just not as deep as that one. I call it "grind to S, save, reload older save."
I've currently got every romantic support for the female avatar (minus Priam) and every romantic support for the first gen characters, and I'm waiting on male Morgan to finish this game's second gen supports. For non-romantic supports, I'm finished a good chunk of people, I think only my avatar, Miriel, Sully, Cherche and Nowi are left, along with whatever kids have support with Morgan.
I had honestly thought about getting each child/father support but couldn't think of a way to do it efficiently. (No quicksave here, and I'm notorious for erasing saves I shouldn't.) So as it stands, I've only got two for each kid, and Lucina only has two sibling conversation sets. I've been trying to convince myself that the kid/father conversations "don't count", as they're 99% identical across the board. I'm not being very successful. Those unclickable letters in the support log are TAUNTING ME.
My next playthrough is going to be a lunatic/classic with a male avatar, but after that, normal/casual quicksave abuse, here I come.

Shep does my teambuild work in HC?
Every team can work in HC. It's all in the strategy. You've just gotta be patient, guard your weak units, and let the enemy come to you. Play over-defensively for a while until you feel confident enough to make the first strike. You can still toss Fred at people in the early chapters, but he'll need backup.
Always keep the enemy range open. Always be paired up. Enemy units will attack weaker units first if they're in range, even if they have to swerve around several other units to get to them. Keep them protected in the rear of a pair.
Keep an eye on enemy weapons. Your super general with insane defense can still fall to a hammer.
Not sure what else to say that hasn't been said before. From when I played the demo, I found the difficulty jump from normal to hard not as big as the jump from hard to lunatic. I felt that hard was just normal with more enemies. So... play the same, just maybe not as reckless?
