On more difficult maps, particularely in classic mode, does anyone throw in some Spotpass units expressly as bait and fodder. I think I might try that in my playbook.

Everyone: What would your perfect FE be?

Awakening came close. I love the Avatar feature, the world map and unlimited supports. The conversations themselves could have been pared down to about half by restricting which units can marry, (see Sumia's support list) and thus increasing the quality of the conversations, one would hope. Not saying they were bad, just saying that I found the other games had better conversations. A lot of Awakening's were a bit silly for me. (Priam proposes marriage because the avatar did his laundry.)

I'd leave out the troubadour and trickster classes and bring back the soldier/sentinel and summoner. I'd also probably leave the barbarian/berserker classes as enemy-only, because I never use them.

Level 20 base classes should auto-promote at level 21 without the need for a master seal.

Rally Trust, dammit.

Bolting/Meteor/Blizzard. 5 uses is okay, but bring them back. Especially Blizzard.

Magic Triangle. Both the wind/thunder/fire one and the anima/light/dark one.

Shove. Pair-up must stay, but I'd like the option to "rescue" into a pair-up, as you can't do that in Awakening. Come on, Sumia does it in a cutscene.

Counter should be rolled up in a carpet and thrown off a bridge. You counter attacks already. Perhaps not make it activate if you or the enemy retaliates, it would only activate on the instigating attack.

Bosses should move, unless it's a seize map.

I realize this isn't Awakening related, but this made me laugh far too hard to leave it alone. I'm also practically loopy with exhaustion, so that may be a contributing factor to the hilarity.

The endings are very biased to the men since the females were generally just supporting the males.

Also Basillo and Flavia should be able to get together, if for no other reason than to make more work for Shepenwepet

Your comment reminds me of "Cartman finds love" episode.

Anyway, just use fortify. Bring a bunch of characters with great mobility and Galeforce to clear out enemies fast. Fire-Anna would be a piece of cake if you finish the stage quickly.

They did a decent job with the piece by piece ending slides. I don't really like the male (?) MU's paired ending, though. The mate barely gets any mention aside from being MU's waifu.

Modifié par LegendaryAvenger, 02 mai 2013 - 12:04 .

It's a pity we can't have online battles, because my Love and Friendship Brigade would be HUNTING YOU DOWN.

HA. But really, they should have been able to S-support. And Yen'fay should have been able to talk to his sister. Come on.

It's the same for the female. It's quite bad when your female avatar is married to Chrom.

Also what annoyed me is that Cherche was retired because she had already been married but the ending treated it like she was dead.

She married Stahl but the ending acted like they never met.

What do you mean? The ending has Cherche cooking for Stahl until he becomes fat.

Since she was retired, Stahl only got his seperate ending.

Define "retired".
Is it character death or something?

So I don't have any DLC but I think that's going to change with Future of Despair and one other.  I was wondering what the best "grind" DLC was for Lunatic. Beat chapter 4 and it looks like some tough trials ahead.

"Retired" is pretty much character death, only the character has plot armor.

I'm currently trying to remember what plot significance Cherche had. Probably some dialogue with Virion, who must also have plot armor. Or it may be that the first gen women can't "die" due to being future mothers.

As for Lunatic grinding, I'm still on my hard run trying to complete Morgan's supports with all remaining available fathers, so the only Lunatic experience I have was with the demo. But I'm sure Golden Gaffe would be a major help, just use the gold from that to buy reeking boxes.

Exponential Growth can rocket you up levels, but you only have four turns and only six units, and since it's early game you'll only be able to tackle a few of the monsters on the map. I really hate the layout of that map.

The scramble maps have insane amounts of event tiles on them (harvest has 18, summer has 15) so you can use those for item drops/exp/weapon exp, etc. Harvest may actually be quite nasty on lunatic, though. (Miracle+Counter is common on hard)

All mothers or cutscene characters are immune to death. Cherche is both.

Unrelated: I'm on Lunatic+ and jesus christ, I hate this. Why must I be a masochist?

And that's why Marribelle came back from the dead to mance Chrom.

Ah. Then yes. That is pretty dumb that wives can't "retire" with their partners.

I'll try some of those DLC grabs then. I don't even care how "cheating" some of them are. Having my party clean up the debris left by Fred was fun but now it's getting tedious.
