I'm mad about not being aware of that game when I had my Gamecube. I plan on buying another one at some point so I can play Resident Evil Zero and Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes so I hope to pick that up too.Shepenwepet wrote...
Not a problem! Also look into the Golden Gaffe. Money money money.
I suppose it's too much to ask for a magical resurgence for this thread, huh? I've been itching to delve back into Path of Radiance and work my way back up through the rest.
There are so many conversations in PoR I haven't seen. I can't let them stay greyed out forever...

To answer the above question, yes, it applies to Canada.

The ones I recommended come to about 20 bucks total.

And yes, you would be missing much. It's not necessary stuff, but a lot of it is incredibly useful.
If you just buy one map out of the whole thing, The Golden Gaffe is a good choice. If you play Awakening on any difficulty above casual, money is scarce. The Golden Gaffe fixes that problem, although a bit too well. But again, the game is completely playable without it.

I just added up what I bought.
Lost Bloodlines 2 (2.50 USD) = 2.88 CAD
Smash Brethren 2 (3.00 USD) = 3.45 CAD
Golden Pack (6.00 USD) = 6.90 CAD
Scramble Pack (6.50 USD) = 7.48 CAD
= 20.71.

Yeah I heard about that. Besides not having and not being particularly interested in owning a Wii U, I can't get too excited for this without knowing what it's going to play like. Although, going off of the title I could just assume it's either a fighting game Street Fighter X Tekken style, or a tactical/strategy RPG Namco X Capcom or Project X Zone style.Battlebloodmage wrote...
They're making Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem, too bad that it's on the Wii U. I don't plan on getting a Wii U, so it's a bit of a disappointment.

Pair up. Always. Each attack while paired will give you 6 "support points", attacks while adjacent only give 2. You can only accrue up to 27 points per battle, the final number you get afterward is always rounded to the nearest multiple of 9. (the game counts zero as a multiple, so attack while paired at least once) You only need to attack four times with paired units to get all you'll get for that pair for one battle.
The amount of support points needed varies between units and support levels, so just keep on keepin' on.
And yes, it is a long road. I was traveling on it for about 270 hours.

Yes. Pair up. Always. It's the edge players have over the computer (Well, that and common sense). I can only imagine the hilarity and frustration of having enemies pair up like the characters.

Dual Support/Guard. There, nightmare fuel.

I'm sad that I don't get to use any of my FE X SMT credit on Devil Survivor and I don't feel like using it on any DLC. What did everyone spend it on?
I actually did use mine for some DLC since I didn't have any when they were being talked about in here. DLC, Ninja Gaiden, and Earthworm Jim.

Okay, how does one go about setting the English subtitles for this game? I set the audio to Japanese but the cutscenes don't feature subtitles! I've read something about accessing the in-game options menu but, at this time, it would be easier to find the Holy Grail.
Before continuing a saved game go to options or whatever.

Yes, but how do I go to options?

This would mean that the first cutscene wouldn't have subtitles at all, though, since you can't access the options menu from the title screen. If I had my 3ds I'd check, but I don't.
