Except now I'm having large dillema's.... Who should marry who? I atleast got Chrom x Sumia since the chemistry was nice during the cutscenes.

No, I'm serious.. I literally missed him. In fact, on my last playthrough I was wondering when he was going to join, as I was like a dozen of chapters into the game. Then at the end, I looked it up and saw that he was supposed to be recruited by Chrom by talking to him in combat on Chapter 3. I didn't know you could do that at the time, in fact I couldn't even remember him being there.

I actually didn't know that could happen. I always made an effort to talk to him. Character recruitment is tricky without prior knowledge of the series I guess. The enemy recruitments are the ones that can really trip you up. I've seen a few playthroughs where Based Candyman and Based Yandere get killed because of their color palette.

If you invest in him you'll be past this sooner than you think.
As soon as he becomes a Merc, he gets quite powerful. The Villager might be weaker than pap-maché but the skills that class gets are quite nifty to pass on to his child.

I chose Maribelle, since her disposition juxtaposes his personality.. and it comes off as quite traditional fairytail-romance, ala Hans Christian Andersen... Let's just say that Maribelle's child feels more or less like he could truly be Donnel's son.

Yes, sadly Gaius died the first time I met him because he literally ran into Chrom, despite the fact that he was only there to rob the place.. :S

I was planning to ship Maribelle with Ricken. But hearing that, I might change that.

Ricken is probably better for Lissa, at least that's what I chose since they are approximately the same age (presumably) and they get along quite well -- Just make he gets Lifetaker at least (a skill he gains from the Dark Knight class). It heals the unit whenever the player's phase ends.
Hopefully you haven't recruited any of the child units yet, since it's best to save that until the current gen characters have all the skills they need.

I paired Lon'qu with Nowi in one of my playthroughs...... Hilarity did follow rather well.

I was gonna say Lon'qu is too cool for such a fate but I just remembered his character isn't compelling.
I think Stahl is becoming a favorite of mine.

Oh yeah, Lon'qu & Cherche do have an interesting support so that does make sense. I'm still stuck on the obvious Virion/Cherche pairing though. I need to switch up my pairings in the next playthrough.
