So yep, hard but not impossible.
edit: either i'm remembering wrong or the enemies have random loadouts - i just beat the second battle on lunatic again and the risen chief was carrying a short axe, which had a zero critical chance.
I also got to see two mini support conversations by standing on glittering tiles with paired up units. They're just a sentence or two, I think the real convos are after battles, like in PoR.

There was a "support" option if you pulled up the menu in the world map.

There's also a possible Xenoblade Chronicles sequel on the way, and there's already a thread on a Wii U Zelda Wind Waker remake.
I might just have to buy a WiiU. Definitely getting Wind Waker HD. WiiU pad as the tingle tuner is a must.

I'm not sold on the Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem. I'd honestly prefer a new Fire Emblem title.
Both series are good, I'm very curious as to how they mesh.

But you're getting one in this game, no? I doubt they'd announce a main title before this game's international release is even out. Besides this is a first for the franchise, so I'm eager to see how it'll turn out, other than the obvious allure of it being an FE/SMT crossover.

I haven't ever recruited Geitz before -- never got the map -- but I ****ing love Wallace. He's such a badass.

Oh god I hope this is actually part of the game. It's just so ****ing hilarious because of how it's phrased..

Pot on head? Check.
Giant log to bash heavily armored, trained knights? Check.
Who needs tactics?
Really, though, as alluring as the villlager is, tactician/grandmaster is where it's at for me. Although every time I've played the demo I used the avatar as a full-on mage, never using his sword.

My EB Games didn't have it, the clerk said their shipments are usually a few days behind, which is not surprising for where I am. But I preordered Etrian Odyssey IV so it wasn't a completely wasted trip to the store.
They used to call when preorders came in, but now they use an automated system to do it, which shows up on my phone as a random string of numbers. Around here that usually means scammers and telemarketers, so I ignore it.
I may be answering a lot of garbage phone calls in the next few days.

I'll probably get screwed out of the art book too.
So if any of you out there are Canadian and DON'T live in a tiny little town, check your EB Games/Gamestops. They may have FE for sale.
Edit: I dunno, people out there are saying US is gonna release it early too, that FE will be for sale as soon as the stores receive the shipments. I hope it's true.

IGN - 9.6
Gameinformer - 9/10
The Escapist - 5/5
Destructoid - 9/10
RPGamer - 4.5/5
And EB Games is no longer selling the game early. Apparently it was an error. Sigh.
