The artstyle of True Goddess Reincarnation x Fire Emblem seems very much akin to Awakening, so I assume it's Intelligent Sys who's on that and Atlus doing the gameplay.

So the two versions will offer a a different challenge:

 

White Version: Will be in line with Awakening difficulty level.

 

Black Version: Will offer a challenge in line with older games in the series and have more requirements to meet such as defending a town, breaking enemy lines. or having a limited number of moves to complete a map (along with defeating the leader of the opposing faction.

Excellent idea -- Other developers should take notes here. Guys, instead of trying to sell a story with duality in terms of engaging gameplay, why don't we seperate it completely into 2 different games and sell them for full price.

Honestly we still don't know, nothing has been confirmed on the North American release as there is information that hints on a single game release and some that hints on a dual game release.  The article I posted above reveals information from a Japanese site talking about the Japanese version of the game.

I don't think Fire Emblem is big enough in the west for a release like that. Could be wrong like I assumed in the other post.
