No one is singling anybody out. Sheep are sheep.In the North American Direct and all other official sources talking about the game they always referred to it as a single game, the only area were two versions have been officially revealed is Japan. That is were the uncertainty is coming from.
Even journalists are not sure if it will get the multi game treatment or be released on one card. The presence of the Special edition in Japan which has both games on it has people wondering if regions outside of Japan will just get the Special Edition version as standard.

Was excited for a new Fire Emblem game. Just recently finally beat awakening but confused about the whole 2 game thing for the next release.
Is it after Chapter 6 each game branches off into an entirely different storyline with different battles, similar in length to awakening each or do you have to play both games to get full enjoyment? What i mean is if there was around 50ish official battles (chapters and those recruitment missions, don't remember the exact number) in awakening is there going to be 25ish battles in each game or will each have the full amount around 50? I know numbers aren't exact but hopefully you understand what i mean.

The game is an official sequel to Awakening now it seems. Oh god I hope Chrom's kingdom is the black kingdom. That would be hilarious. It's probably just be Plegia again though sadly.

I'll bet this is a blatant excuse to attach applicable waifus/husbandos to one of the two games and try and catch those out who still think the split is dumb.
Lucina very much supports that, so I'd expect so.

Ooooh, in fact I just remembered, If is amiibo compatible and there's a Lucina amiibo so.... You'll probably have to cough up another £15 (or make a sacrifice to the dark gods to actually find a specific amiibo) for that feature.

Yeah, they're on a real slippery slope with those things. In all seriousness, stuff like their smash bros integration is pretty well done, and I'd be ok with it in FE were it, say, just a Lucina Einherjar or something.
But I got an Inkling amiibo bundled with my copy of splatoon, (simply as I wanted the figure) and the content on that is just straight up day one dlc. Nothing major, but that's still what it is.

Just wanted to post this in here to let you all know I'm laughing at number 7 and the whole "turn-based strategy at its finest" thing.
I've seen better SRPG's i've also played worse though.

I don't know what a SRPG is but the fact that a more simplistic strategy game like Awakening would be something "at its finest" is laughable.

I should clarify that all these abbreviations outside of a J in front of RPG is over my head. I'm assuming T is for tactical and S is for strategy.
