I am stuck in the guantlet (Sacred Urn Mission). I am very new to this style of game play and I find myself getting owned by the doppelgangers in the guantlet. I have tried everything from status attack focused tactics, changing party member tactics and changing party members (between Human Rogue main, Allistair, Morrigan, Mabari, Sten and Shale)

I am at level nine with my Rogue and most of my party is comprable...am I attempting this task too early (at too low a level) or is there a trick to getting past the doppelganger party.

I know I'm a noob, I just need advice...even if the answer is obvious to you. I have been pwnd on multiple occaisions rather quickly while attempting to pass this room and I can't last more than 30 seconds.

Focus all your fire on one character at a time. If Wynne or Morrigan is in your party, do them first, rogues next, warriors last.

Fool! Kill the one in the dress!

Sorry, couldn't resist >.>

But yes, the ones with blue bars should be high priority targets. Lock down any and all other that you can with CC and pick them off. Try to prioritize and take out the dangerous targets first.

Try to pull them into the room one at a time, then focus fire the **** out of them. I have also noticed that they seem to go after the person they are copying so watch out for that. Also level nine is a bit low for this part (at least for the dragon fight), so I would probably come back at level eleven or twelve if your still having trouble.

Edit: spelling

Thanks guys...Back Pain, I have been pretty diplomatic in this part so the Dragon Battle didn't happen yet... I think I'll level up some more to open up some more tactic slots and abilities. Thanks for the advice, I thought that my level might play into it somehow.

Level shouldn't play into the gauntlet, just the High Dragon. You don't want to try to kill it at level 9, beyond that you should be able to finish it without problems. Generally areas scale to level.

I had trouble, until I took Morrigan out and went in with Alister, Shale and Zevran. Then it only took me a couple of trys. But I wasn't being blasted by magic. It was just my person then that was the harder one to kill.
