There is no option to change your hairstyle in the game.

Would actually be cool if things like this were in game, as stores.

Barber, tatooist, etc.

Also, you can try checking Dragon Age Nexus for hair mods - I know there's at least one, but you'd have to start a new character (it doesn't do anything for existing characters).

You can, actually change your hairstyle in game. This would however make every NPC that had your original hairstyle, also have your new hairstyle.

Step 1) Download the DATool (http://social.bioware.com/project/41/)
Step 2) Load the Tool and search for the Hairstyle you want
Step 3) Open the DA Toolset
Step 4) Open Modelheirarchies in C:\\\\Program Files (x86)\\\\Dragon Age\\\\packages\\\\core\\\\data
Step 5) Look for the Filename of the hairstyle you want (From Step 2)
Step 6) Right Click on said file and export it to your Desktop
Step 7) Exit Toolset
Step 8) Find your Original Hairstyle in the DATool
Step 9) Rename the file that you exported to your Desktop to your Old Hairstyle name
Step 10) Move the file into both: C:\\\\Users\\\\YourName\\\\Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\packages\\\\core\\\\override and C:\\\\Users\\\\YourName\\\\Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\modules\\\\Single Player\\\\override
Step 11) Load Game, there you go. Enjoy the new Hair! ;)

So...as easy as getting a root canal?..long as your a Pc user.

Again, l wouldnt mind seeing an ingame Barber, Tatooist, etc as Npc stores.

There is in fact a mod that can modify an existing character and works with any savegame.
Its called Face Replacer.. you can change all except the gender and race
Here you can find it
www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php

And I suggest the already mentioned "more hairstyles" mod as well

Ahh right, sorry about that I completely forgot about non-PC users. :( Yes, as of now, I think you can only change hairstyles via the PC version; I have no idea about XBox/PS3. =/

Using the DA Tool you can Mod multiple things in the game as well; I was experimenting with it and got my Warrior to "Dual-Wield" Shields... Was quite hillarious in fact. xD

Yeah, I guess the best thing to do is hope a blue catches this thread and pops a suggestion to the devs to accomadate a barber for a DLC. Never hurts to hope, right? :D

I wouldn't mind ingame hairdressers either, as long as they don't give a pair of scissors to Leliana.

I'd hate having to run around with pink ribbons in my hair for the rest of the game
