See, this is why I don't get all the "Revenant sucks" talk.

You might actually have an argument for the Revenant being good at suppressive fire, if the enemies in ME3 actually responded to suppressive fire.... Most of them don't.

Reverant is good for getting assists - spray in the general direction of the enemies and someone is bound to eventually get hit.
Killing stuff however, is an entirely different matter...
Not really, I was still killing things faster than everyone else, this is including the guy with the harrier. On the one wave that I died, they took a lot longer to get through the wave.
Now granted, this is on my destroyer, but if I went harrier on my destroyer, i'd be the one getting destroyed. Harrier just flat doesn't suit the purpose as well. its a burst fire gun, not a sustained fire gun.
The Revvy is pretty decent on the Destroyer. It benefits from the increased ROF and the Accuracy.
If I may ask, did you spec for hawk or multi-frag?
As of right now, was trying the Cobra instead of hawk, and only level 3 of multifrags.
Cobra is definitely inferior to Hydra missiles due to the ****ty pathing on the missiles. Hydra compensates for that by firing 3 missiles instead of 1.
I compensate for that by being mid-close range. To compliment my mid-close range gun. Plus a Cobra is firing every two seconds, which makes up for not firing 3 missiles at a time. (Think you have to get armor bonus to get hydra to stagger things like dragoons). Though I will admit that the Hydra may be better at helping me fend off multiple enemies at close range while teammates deal with other things, which seems to just be my role in matches as a Destroyer. "Here, you 3 take on this one boss while I go over here and deal with EVERYTHING ELSE PLUS TWO MORE BOSSES."

And I still say the Revenant is underpowered. That^ is the way I play coupled together with decent aim, positioning and the character I used (GI), not the weapon itself.

but the revenant is good on batarians turians some geth, vorcha (primeing fire explosions) and a few other classes
its not perfect, its arse for aimeing without useing accu mods but if you play ot its inaacuracy then theres a chance you will really like that toy

lets be honest here any gun thats got 100+ rounds in the mag and 500+ in reserve is going ot rock pretty good, if you choose your rev x with penetrater and spare clip mods use dmg boosters and either ap or incedary ammo 3 or 4 then it's highly likely that your spread will be nice and the dmg high enough that pepering a spawn will be mega in terms of dps, personally i prefer incediary ammo over ap ammo for raw dps on everything, add in some frag rounds off a destroyer and your having serious boom time

Geth Plasma Rifle says otherwise =P
Though the Revenants damage is actually half decent.
Assuming you hit the target, of course.

@vilyn, ok so I guess the Phaeston, geth pulse rifle, collector rifle or any rifle with more ammo in its chamber is better than the harrier in your eyes. Your judging how much ammo is in one clip then. The harrier is a long range AND a short gun with a max amount of 36 when you use equipment. It's the pinnacle of what a assault rifle should be. But to each is own.. They should NERF the Reverant then.
but good work OP on the match. Glad you found a gun you like using.
Wow. What a failure of a post.

good one.. You can actually try and you know respond.. I will ask again.. Your judging by the clip size right? Yes you are. Well that won't fly for the majority of us here in judging the quality of a rifle. But like I said earlier, to each is own. I'm not your papa. Play how you like

The gun staggers easily, forces lieutenant rank enemys to evade and cover (which can easily be shot through). It can mow down whole crowds with ease. Anyone not getting the revenant, im sorry you suck.
*edit*

This was made for me in honor of my revenant usage, thanks to jagpferd once again.

I stopped halfway through the moronic posts, +1 op, the revenant if handled right is a killer, it can ruin whole crowds, shred apart bigger targets, and while the harrier people run to the nearest ammo box the second, the revenant is still firing. On a HSol this gun can fire 600 bullets without ever taking a break from the hail of bullets.

This is a serious question, do you typically use Cyclonic Modulators on those builds?

1) Particle Rifle still has the issue of only being good for one target at a time.
2) They do respond due to being constantly staggered, plus certain enemies retreat when their shields/health goes down.

I'll go ahead and answer that: No. No armor bonuses at all.
I rarely ever actually use equipment beyond Gear bonuses, and what I use is either survivor loadout or stronghold package.

Still true unless there's a mod to make the particle rifle spread its beam into a cone or something.

I barely use amps unless it is a legion game. Still rock hard.
Also i prefer the bonus power damage for my stickys/pmines/overload to murder armored/shielded targets

Why would I use the revenant on another class? Its like putting the harrier on a destroyer: That's not what it's for, and its not going to do as well with that class as the other gun would.
Different guns have different roles.
If it's not great on every character, or have the ability to 1 hit Phantoms, BSN don't like it.
It does however, have the ability to pin down and decimate phantoms, which is something few, if any, other guns can do, due to phantom agility. Phantoms can't avoid Revenant fire, like they can with pretty much every other gun. Not to mention the sheer damage and firepower just RIPS through their barriers and health.

So guys, I just topped score with the Revenant. Keep in mind. I don't use amps in gold. These people did. I don't know how its so bad. I did fine, and sure it was an infiltrator and the Geth one at that. But Hey, the only argument I've been seeing is for the Destroyer or Turians.

So? I kinda thought the BSN had accepted that scoreboards aren't useful to indicate if a gun is good or bad, even more so if we don't even see the time.

Don't have it in MP, but you are talking about the prothean gun, the one Jarek comes with in single player, correct? The one that fires a sustained beam? Or am I mixing it up with another gun?
