You heard that right. All of Mass Effect was a dream. Except for ME3, which was obviously a nightmare.
Haha

It'll be some bland corridor shoot-out with Cerberusor Reapers, no doubt.

I swear to god, I have never heard the complaint or reasoning that "if the dlc doesnt affect the ending, it Sucks and/or is pointless." .....not until ME3 atleast.Paranoidal nemesis wrote...

umm I like story more than action, and if its a well crafted side story, I'll have excitement for it.... I could care less about it being before the ending.Paranoidal nemesis wrote...
I don't think there is any excitement in playing something that takes place before earth, unless you like the action more than the story.
I agree that if a side story is well crafted. I maybe interested. However, I don't think its possible to do a well crafted pre earth dlc since any story line is probably gonna be about finding a way to stop the reapers. We know that no matter what happens in it, it doesn't help you stop the reapers. The course of the game won't be affected.
it is valid if the ending is preventing you from repaying the game. And I WANT to be able to replay it...but can't ATMMcfly616 wrote...

Personally, its not a valid complaint in my opinion. I let any games dlc stand on its own. Otherwise I'd be saying Skyrims dlc....Borderlands 2 dlc blows.....because they certainly have no affect on the endings of their respective games. So they must suck.
Leviathan didn't change the ending. And its easily my favorite dlc of the trilogy. (Even more than LotSB....and I'm a Liara fanatic)

hopefully its just semantics, they could still continue the game without changing the current ending.
not really their problem though. Maybe a handful of games in the history of videogames have ever "altered" their endings via dlc....crimzontearz wrote...

Exactly. They ended the game. It's done. The DLC will be an epilogue.

We already know of the keepers' origin and I'm fairly sure the reaper homeworld was obliterated, even so, Leviathan is enough for the pre-reapers IMO.ME859 wrote...
Based on random stuff I've heard on the internets I'm guessing something that covers the orgins of the Keepers and the Reaper homeworld.
Would love love LOVE something that gave us an ending similar to the first two game.

No where in any of the Mass Effect games does it tell you anything about either of these subjects. ALL we know is that the keepers were made by the reapers, we have no idea from what race, what planet they used to come from, how they function with near unlimited resources.
The keepers are fully cybernetic.brummyuk19 wrote...

And we never learn about their being a reaper home world. All we know is that the leviathans were the first reaper.
