Regardless, if it isn't the ending, what could possibly be enough to "make us cry" and "blow us away" like they think it will?

OP, where are you getting these quotes, and the "Epic" one included in your title? And the idea that Bioware have said this will be their biggest DLC yet?

Why has this question not been answered for page and pages yet people are still treating it like Bioware said this? Seriously, why am I only 1 of about 2 people that have asked for this?

If you hate the end of Mass Effect 3 does that also mean you hate facts and sources and will fully embrace lies in an attempt to **** about Bioware? Because there really shouldn't be this much pages and still no sources.

People don't need facts or evidence, their gut tells them it's true, so it must be true.

That's how internet posting works, it's not if something is true or not, it's if it feels true enough to pass the seems legit test.

Seriously though. People can't use guts, that just makes them look stupid when it's quickly revealed (and it will be on the Internet) that they're using lies to back up their case. Sure people might hate Bioware or some aspect of Mass Effect 3, but that still doesn't explain why they don't make sure the people on the opposite side of the fence can't instantly get the upper hand, in any argument that might happen, by exposing the lies they've been spreading against Bioware.

For example, I know people are going to concentrate on the fact I'm saying they look stupid for believing and spreading lies without trying to find out if what they're saying is true, but no one will actually attempt to make me look stupid by linking to the sources with these actual quotes, which is exactly the reaction you're supposed to have.

Mass Effect 3: Jeff Goldblum Edition

Why? I don't know. But having Jeff Goldblum in the game would be a huge improvement to the game anyways.

This is a prime example of what I've been saying here. Why would someone make a comment like this without asking for sources? It just boggles my mind.

I don't even think it's the 'Finale' of DLC... let's be honest.

The line about the music "bringing tears" kills a lot of my interest. Guaranteed someone is going to sacrifice themselves, and it's going to be a huge ordeal, just like the Citadel, Omega, Tunchanka (twice), Rannoch, and however many other times a character plays martyr and we're unable to do anything about it.

I get we Bioware's keen on us being unable to "save them all"... can we at least save someone? Do we really need someone giving up (or trying to give up) their lives every two minutes? It got annoying after Grunt jumped off the cliff in his mission, and it hasn't gotten any better.

Maybe in Legion's case, but even that felt very off.

My apologies for the rant. There just doesn't need to be any more dead heroes.

Movie guy I didn't mind those deaths (mordin and legion and thane) since they were done well. That said we don't need anymore people to die that is certain what we need is a shep getting rescued scene

What will this "Epic" new DLC be about?

It won't be epic.

It'll just be the latest in a string of mediocre DLCs that add no value to anything - least of all replay.

And I can't even blame them for it, since it apparently sells like hotcakes.

So Bioware has been teasing this new DLC to be their biggest to date. Eight of their writers, several of their composers and a majority of the main cast are all attached to it at the moment. Whatever it is, it is supposed to be huge.

http://www.ibtimes.c...-dlc-finale.htm

Now there may not be much hope that it will be a change to the ending since they tried to put their foot down months ago saying the Extended Cut would be the last thing they would do for the ending. Although, if they truly acknowledge how unpopular they have become because of that debacle, maybe they might change their minds....

Regardless, if it isn't the ending, what could possibly be enough to "make us cry" and "blow us away" like they think it will?

Bioware, as a company, has not been teasing anything. This is all stuff from individuals. There is no PR out there giving us any details. Chris even said that they have nothing to announce about the upcoming dlc. He said it wont be awhile until they do.  Also, the crying has to do with the music. Meaning he was told to make it very emotional, and he said he did.

It's probably hoping for too much, but I would like it if it was a polished, more detailed and relevant Priority Earth. The "problem" with DLCs is that they include content that doesn't exist or rarely temper with content that already exists. So since we already "have" a Priority Earth they probably won't "resell it" under the disguise of a new DLC, instead they'll opt for doing something "new" and probably isolated on its own just like Omega is.

ME3 is a bad, unfinished mess which has nothing to do with RPG genre. It has so much wrong in it, it is unreplayable for me. Ending is just a tip of iceberg, logical conclusion to mediocre shooter which is ME3. I have not bought DLC's for it and doubt I would ever do that after looking reviews for Leviathan and Omega. If the new DLC will radically change the horrible ending, I may give it a try, though.

What a drama queen you are. It's a fight with the reapers, the goddamn apocolypse bringers, and you think 0 casualties is possible? You think that no one you know is going to die in a war with them? That you deserve some kind of "get out of the pains of war" free card or something?

Jack
Grunt
Miranda
Jacob
Liara
Tali
Garrus
Ashley or Kaidan
Wrex
Kirahee
Samara
Chakwas
Kelly
Gardner
Kasumi
Zaeed
Keeneth
Gabriella
EDI
Joker
James
Conrad
Balak
Shiala
Mordin
Wreav

And countless more people who shepard has actually meet and interacted with can all survive in the game. Here are the ones you can't save.

Thane
Legion
Kal'reegar
One of the virmire squad members
Mornith
TIM
Anderson
Kai leng

Oh what an overwhealming amount of death there is compared to the number of squadmate and acquantinces who live. How so very dispraportionatly large the death toll is.

Give me a goddamn break.

What a tough guy you are...

There are more casualties, but it seems  we don't care about them, A LOT of people are dying in this game (in Earth while you are in mars, Joker's sister, people who died during the citadel coup... ). Really, if I could sacrifice Miranda , Jack or Kasumi (characters that i liked) to save people in Thessia, Tuchanka, Palaven or Citadel, I'll do it. It's war, a lot of people are going to die, it's expected and sad.

Of course, that doesn't mean you shouldn't be sad and attached, it's normal to try to save them all. But it's something you can't do and I partially agree with the text above, we really saved a lot of squadmates and LI's already. And If the next DLC is pre-ending, be sure that you won't lose any squadmate.

Maybe we can actually see what happens with the people of the Citadel?

Believe it or not, I actually have hope for this DLC based off of the sheer amount of resources EA is tapping for this project. We know the voice actors and even the music composer have been brought back in, and it should have some promise if EA is dedicating that much.

I'm really looking forward to seeing more dlc :wizard:

Just finished Omega for the first time last night and liked it. Haven't finished with Tuchanka yet on the FemShep that I'm currently playing so it will take a while before I get to play Leviathan. Will probably play it right before hitting Thessia. Would be great if it was relased before I finished this PT but it probably won't happen. Been playing a lot of SWTOR lately so I have have some Mass Effect stuff to catch up on. But it's fun to have a new PT with entirely new content to play through.
