I played bronze with a newbie with an always on mic today. He didn't make any sounds himself but I could quite clearly hear the sound from his game as an echo of the actual sounds. It was kind of surreal since I have the english version and his was in german. At least I now know how the german dub sounds like. Also, I knew when he got into trouble when I was at the other side of the map, heh.

I think they keep their Kinect Mic on and stick it right next to their TV. That's why you get all the echoing of the game sounds.
