Marksman makes you immune to the debuff of Seeker Swarms.

There is a button you can hold to make your character walk and move even slower for most species.

What's this button?

I think it's ctrl by default on PC(Not sure what it is on Console or if it's even there).

A few species will walk all the time by default.

Consoles don't have it because you can use the sensitivity of the analog stick to dictate walk speed. PC has it because pressing "w" to move will give you the same speed always, and holding a different button will give the slow speed. In this, console players win.

Here are some more:

It is possible to launch into the sky in this game, I achieved it using the Asari Adept on FB Jade.

Also possible on Condor on the ledges near deployment.

Did you know that if you get attacked by a seeker swarm right as your activated power is running out of time it will continue to stay activated while you are under the effect of a seeker swarm? I use it to extend my flamer useage when playing a character with flamer ability. Don't know if it works on any other abilities.

tbh - I think everyone knows
Haha, the link found some use, and in your sig - tis in mine too, but hidden. I approve.
(will try again to get it uploaded as a gif at some point).

Fun Fact : Firing from cover without aiming generally causes more shots to miss you.
And if you do the same (over the cover) at a prime that is lower down than you (doesn't have to be much), but not too far away. They can't hit you, and just hit the cover whilst you blast away (works with scions too, but less reliable).
And I'm sure everyone knows about the lack of stagger when using cover.

Not sure if its been said already but if you crouch behind solid cover, hiding from a turret, you can "hip fire" it over the cover (don't ADS) it won't shoot you

Have seen the no synch kill on ramps several times, but there is a caveat. You can be synch killed on a ramp/stairs/etc if you let the synch killer get beside you (at same vertical level) on said incline.

I have one that's fun rather than useful. If you lock on your target & run (or i suppose walk) off a ledge while maintaining the lock & immediately hit charge you can charge from midair.

If you set a Volus's primary colour to bright red and its secondary to white, it looks like a Pokeball.

If you prime a target with Incinerate or any other fire attack. Then set it off with snap freeze. The explosion well happen on you. Not the enemy. Found this funny on my N7 Paladin.

Holy ****, thank you. I'm implementing this next time I play as a Volus.

Incinerate does 75% of its listed damage on impact, and does the remaining 25% damage over time for 3 seconds.

If you take the rank 6 Area Scan evolution for Tactical Scan, you don't need to target an enemy to use the radius effect. If you don't target an enemy any enemies around you are highlighted - this is handy during objective waves when you haven't yet seen enemies and aren't sure which hallway they will move through.
It's common knowledge, but tac scan can be used safely in cover, you won't be exposed if you aren't hard-aiming. Also, it will instantly kill swarmers and geth prime turrets but not seeker swarms/plagues.

If you detonate fire explosions with arc grenades, the fire explosion is created wherever the grenade lands. Not sure if it's the same with TBs/CEs.

Bump. Useful stuff.

This may be common knowledge, but you can escape Banshee/Atlas sync kills (not sure about Phantoms and Brutes) via several methods.

The obvious one is shooting her/it with a Cobra, which some people should really try to use, just, you know, every once in a while. It doesn't bite.

As for non-Cobra ways, though:

The first, and most reliable, is if your teammates stagger the Banshee - this can be done via the appropriate power (Charge seems to work great, I've also done it successfully with Smash), or simply doing enough damage (which can be trickier, but I've seen it done by a Krogan HM, as well as with the [I think] Claymore).

The second is done yourself, once you've been grabbed. Now, this has a 50% chance of working (so it will - or it won't), but seeing as you've got nothing to lose at that point anyway, might as well try to:
- try to dodge backwards/to the sides repeatedly
- mash your melee key
- use a power with a long animation (Pylon [works], Biosphere [works], TacScan [I think I've seen it, but I'm mostly guessing], etc...)

Curiously, a mix of the above (as in, hitting all keys like crazy) never worked for me. Individually, every method has, at least a few times. The window for hitting the right fraction of a second appears to be extremely small, but doable both against the Banshee and the Atlas, as the animations are relatively long. So the next time any of those grab you, don't go for a coffee right away - at least try.

And as mentioned, a stagger by a team member is the most certain way. So if you see someone get grabbed, and you either don't have a rocket handy or don't want to use it - just throw everything you got at the bogie. If it doesn't work, you've at least taken down some of its health. If it does work - you'll feel like the son of Chuck Norris, Superman and a Tomahawk missile.

However that works.

Don't think this one has been said:

Deploying the Biotic Bubble will detonate a BE, whether you have the Warp evolution taken or not. Useful if something gets up on you and is already primed. Also useful for a relatively quick double BE when charging a group with an Offensive Bubble. Reave on the way in, Bubble on top of them for a BE, then Reave for another BE from the Warp prime.

If you roll forward and hold x you change weapon. It works with the jetpack dodge as well.

Uhm, not sure if anyone mentioned this yet. If you're using a Javelin, if you quickly scope and de-scope, the enemies will stay highlined for a fraction of a second - enough to make you have a good understanding of what is in that direction. Very handy sometimes.

Fling a Dark Channel at an Engineer who's deploying his turret.
Laugh as it explodes right in his eyes.
I also noticed on Vancouver tha if I hit reload an instant before I drop from the upper level at the player spawn, it will relaod while you fall.

at the end of each wave, any players that are downed will be revived. regardless if all are still alive.
this works in solos as well. (EX, your downed, last foe is a mook, gets killed by dark channel's dot, your auto-revived)Image IPB

easiest ways this can be done during a solo match/clutching a wave is by killing the last foe by:

using a pet (Sentry Turret) or by using D.O.T. (Annihilation Field,Dark Channel,?kishock?)

Using lash on a possessed abomination while attempting a hack objective is a bad idea.
