Once activated by performing a melee attack, a Phantom's sync kill primer remains active until the phantom cloaks, or begins shooting. If the phantom takes cover and doesn't cloak or shoot - regardless of how much time passes - it can still instantly kill you.

That's not funny <_<

Fury and Shadow heavy melee were not designed to be used as melee attacks; they were designed to be used as forward teleportation maneuvers; with the added benefit of melee damage, but both function poorly in the 2nd aspect due to their poor tracking.

You mean Slayer, right?

Praetorians become paralysed if you can successfully force them on top of terrain, using melee attacks, shockwave or shooting them so they flinch backwards. Once a praetorian has become stuck "on top of" some terrain, the praetorian will be completely and utterly helpless; not using lazers, melee or rockets until it is forced off said piece of terrain by something else.

What do you mean? I've never seen this! What do you mean by "forcing them on top of terrain"?

For all the Aussies out there: The fingerprints of koala bears are virtually indistinguishable from those of humans, so much so that they could be confused at a crime scene.

Now go get yourself a Koala bear, and you can use them as an excuse. "The bloody Koala did it mate!! I swear it!!"

If you cast Dark Channel on an Engineer who's about to set up a Turret, it'll instantly blow up in his face.

When praetorians do their little "flinch" move, they actually move backwards.

Similar to other large enemies, it is possible to force them backwards so their model ends up "on top" of some cover, regardless of the height of the cover. (similar to using force to push an atlas on top of the roof on firebase hydra).

Using shockwave whilst the praetorian is flying, providing you are targetting some other enemy infront of the praetorian, and the primary target is NOT the preatorian, will force the praetorian backwards in mid air, sometimes causing it to end up "stuck" on terrain.

The same goes for melee attacks which can make praetorians flinch backwards, and the same goes for shooting attacks. The praetorian when it flinches, moves backwards, so it can end up stuck on top of objects, as the praetorian will move backwards "into" the object, but as in most cases, enemies cannot reside "inside" a wall or object, the praetorian will instead end up on top of the object.

In each and every case, the preatorian will sit there until knocked off by an attack with enough force.

Meaning while it is stuck up there it will neither move, shoot, melee, use its death rockets or sync kill people.

You can stunlock a Scion from full health all the way to death with a TSol Piranha w/ only a level one shotgun amp and level two AP ammo. This is with Barrage Upgrade.

Might even work with lower level ammo, never tried it.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think when a phantom does the power-absorbing bubble it increases their hit box for bullets. In other words you can damage a phantom by shooting just the bubble.

It seems like most of the people I play with don't know how to get a Phantom to be an easy target.
Throw a power at her and she might stop and use a barrier, if she's hiding behind something and you only see the barrier, shot it and she'll lose health.

You elitists know this of course :P

Well, you can kill an Atlas with a single biotic charge: http://social.biowar...ndex/15529586 B)

Wait, what? Bioware is completely automatic? They were robots all along? This repaints the story in an entirely new context!

If you shoot a bubbled Phantom with Scorpion, the mines will stick on the bubble instead of the Phantom's body. I've also read of people headshoting Phantoms by targeting bubble just above their heads. So you're most probably correct.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet but most veterans know about the inability of enemies to sync kill while on an incline such as standing in front of a banshee on a ramp...

Yeah, but you can have it at above 255 briefly if you go over. The excess will disappear, but they'll go above the cap until you exit the game. May also reset if you do one match, not sure.

The headshot evolution on Tac Scan does nothing against bosses. (at least it used to, IDK if they fixed it.)

This is correct. And the portion of bubble above heir head counts as a headshot.

You can shoot the codpiece off of an atlas mech to expose a weak spot much like the armor platings on brutes or mouth guard of pretorians

This exsplains why they keep getting stuck on the stacks on rio, or theres that one spot on white as well. I`ve seen it occasionally on giant too (abouve the control room). Nice to know that unlike atlases they cannot snipe with thier haxor, nor thier missles, and its good to know i won`t get a 50 ft through the wall sync kill too of course.
