Have not. And the name is a misnomer, I am neither big, smelly, nor named Bob. (That counts as my little-known secret for this post, incidentally.)

Nicely done! :D

Activate a hack, quickly back out of the hack zone, get credit for being in the hack zone even though you're on the other side of the map smoking a joint providing supporting fire. Make sure you're in the hack zone when you activate it though otherwise it won't work.

I thought I'd try it out, and it seems to work on all hacks. Nice catch!

Just like running with the Pizza; "clever use of game mechanics," as BW describes it. I don't see any real difference between the two.

Seeker swarms for some reason use ladders.

I know most people know this, but what surprised me is Geth bombers CAN'T use ladders, or fly off ledges. They have to 'walk' around stuff.

You can one shot Phantom on platinum with Drell Adept using Cluster grenade, you have to spec it right though.

If I were to try and explain that using ME logic, I would attribute that to their "internal mass effect field generator". It probably can only reach a certain height off the ground before the field stops pushing against the gravity of the planet it is on. Kind of like a helicopter's max altitude.

Logical explanations?! Pfsh, all scientific discussion is attributed to 'space magic'.

It's possible to stunlock an atlas to death by shooting the plating off the arms, legs and crotch.

Marksman makes you immune to the debuff of Seeker Swarms.

There is a button you can hold to make your character walk and move even slower for most species.

What's this button?

I think it's ctrl by default on PC(Not sure what it is on Console or if it's even there).

A few species will walk all the time by default.

its called an analog stick, the only realy strangth the controler has over the keyboard and mouse

There's not any difference; both are equally as exploitive and trivialize the objective.

if you knock an atlas or another boss out of the map that was not designed to be knocked out it will not instantly die like everything else

(did it with one of the 3 old krogan and heavy melee to an atlas on the left most ramp on the left side of dagger) just sat their trying to shoot me though the the map, very disappointed it didnt die

Armiger legion dodge has a lot of damage reduction on a few frames on startup; if timed correctly you can tank a Banshee AOE with only suffering ~1% shield damage total.

Pushed an atlas off the map on Dagger (the rightmost ledge, near the LC) with my Bataguard. Had to shoot it afterwards, it didn't die and even tried to shoot back.

If you die on an xbox 360. press the down button on keypad to consume a medigel and revive yourself.

It's a shame that so few people know about this trick. It would make everybody's life easier (mostly mine so I don't have to solo half the game).

A Batarian soldiers Ballistic Blades will ignore the phantom/banshee/praetorian power blocking bubble.

:unsure:I also believe that phantoms will take increased weapon damage when using their bubble. Can someone confirm or deny this?
Also, you can run with the objective: :wizard:

Lots of great tips in this thread! :)

Anyone else think explosions have a hidden (< 1.0) damage multiplier  vs armor?  I think this is why the Krysae got a bonus against it. Especially noticable with the Striker, which just seems strangely ineffective. But the other explosion weapons (scorpion and falcon) also seem weaker vs armor than you would expect, even with the armor DR.

Bioware has no idea how balance works and cannot distinguish between "overpowered" and "has no competion within it's niche".

Here's my contribution. But I guess a lot of you already knew about it.
Raider, off-host, can shoot 3 times although clip size is only 2.
And its very effective against boss, even phantoms. I'm currently using krosent to farm in Gold. I have level 3 incinerate just for phantoms to force her to cast bubble, shoot then lob a grenade = dead phantom.

The Paladin can bash away the Banshee's warp ball. I saw s.o. claim to bash rockets also but I never did it. They can be shot down though.
Deploying the shield stops DoT effects on the Paladin.

Decapitating (e.g. Shadow, Slayer, Vorcha HM) a Nuke Husk doesn't make it explode. Do it in the LZ or just kite it around your teammates for the lol. Be careful about grabbing - some characters don't smash the head on grab and they're in when they grab the nuke.

A Volus can't be grabbed by a husk or abomination.

If you don't target a Phantom when throwing grenades, she doesn't throw up her bubble and will actually take damage.

If you get seeker swarmed while deploying the Flamer you can't turn the flamer off and need to wait for the duration to go out.

If you heavy melee with a turian while trying to get up from a rez you can fire with the Hurricane during the getting up animation. Haven't tested other guns but it works quite frequently on the Hurricane.(Most people should know this)
