So. Please don't attack me for saying the word Mac.
I didn't know, when I bought DA:O for the Mac that the toolset was not available for the Mac. I assumed that because a platform was supported it meant full support. Woops. Okay, no harm done, I was considering buying Parallels soon anyway. Download trial, just to be safe, install windows. Download toolset. No, eff you, we can't recognize the simple fact that you've already bought, installed, and played this game just because it's on a different part of the machine.
Is there anything I can do about this? And please, refrain from pointless anti-mac comments.

well, well, well, turns out that I have a Mac, with Parallels installed, and DAO installed - with the toolset.
If I understand what you've said, all you need to do is install DAO on the Windows OS that you've created with Parallels. The toolset simply needs to see the installation of DAO. Doesn't matter how many times you've paid for it if you don't have it installed, then the toolset doesn't 'see what it needs to see'
And since you HAVE already purchased it, you can install DAO on the Windows OS without purchasing it again. I don't THINK there are any differences between the Mac version and the Windows version of DAO, but I could be wrong. If there are, then there is a whole 'remapping' thing that I don't know how to explain. I know smart Mac people - that doesn't make me a smart Mac person ;-)
