Bioware & EA. I can tell you this...

Full Game & Expansion Disc Version is a best way for me to support you.

The 2 GB limit is nothing but an excuse on a developer's part, because as has been said they can do an expansion. If they refuse to do it, then they are just being lazy. Personally, I think that this is what Mass Effect 3 needs and to not do it would be dumb. ME3 also needs an IT expansion.

Are you kidding me? That is moronic. That limit is Microsoft's. It has utterly nothing to do with developers. Why don't you explain to me how a developer who isn't 'lazy' is supposed to release data over 2 gigs?

Ask Microsoft to lift the restriction. They've done it before.

Can someone explain to me about this Microsoft restriction?

Tons of games could do with expansions. I'd love one for Mass Effect in general.

I like the idea.

I think a disc based expansion would be an excellent idea. Some of us have quite restrictive download caps on our broadband. Also I've not bought Leviathan or Omega yet (and won't unless the ending is improved) so a disc with those DLCs and some post breath scene content would be almost a must buy for me (depending on positive player reviews of course).

They screwed up on ME3's story before the endings, and much of the extended cut and leviathan are steaming piles of dung, that goes much more into depth about what's going on in the ending, but they don't change the fact that the ending concept just feels completely wrong (in who the catalyst is and what he says) so no. Please give us something that reminds us of how good Mass Effect used to be, and don't make us remember those endings, because if you don't want to change the endings, then we just want to forget.

At least 60% of all Mass Effect 3 players.

I'd give my left nut, and real money, for a Tales of the Sword Coast type expansion, that expands the current story, rather than being a mini-sequel. Give ME2 characters more than a bro-nod. Make every mission like Tuchanka, rather than Thessia.

Id give No_MSG's left nut also.  Id even give his right one if required.

An expansion would absolutely give me all kinds of new enthusiasm for ME3 single player. Maybe if instead of saying how unlikely it is, we say how much we would like this, someone might take notice.

We have been saying a lot of things since ME1, it's just a lot of stuff is unlikely in this day and age of gaming. Bioware's priorities and Mircosofts restrictions are the problem.

Expansion? Yes please. Very large DLC's? Also yes please.

EDIT: Against all odds petition to EA to encourage an expansion?  Would sign.

what if instead of the next DLC, they paid homage to the late 90s and early 2000s by bringing us....

An Actual Expansion?

I know most developers go the "DLC route" nowadays because its cheaper, quicker, and they can usually make more of a profit.

But I think it would be awesome if they gave us a full, indepth, expansion.

Opinions?

Bioware has responded to expansions several times since DA: Origins......there will never be any more expansions. THe DLCs are more time relevant and make more money with peice meal adventures.

The amount of work put into expansions, the expansion we know from the 90's that we used to pay 19.95 for, are what Bioware/EA would call a sequel. YOu wouldn't be buying a 19.95 expansion to Dragon Ages II, you would be buying a 49.95 game marketed as Dragon Ages: Kirkwall II.

Short version, DLC is 40 minute to 90 minute aventures. Anything the size of the expansions we remember would be called totally new games, sequels, full price  tags.

To be clear, Biowares stance is that no one will remember their game in 2 months if they don't keep shoving out DLC, they have to keep it on the hard drive or in console players memory via frequent game add ons. They claim that no one would ever want an expansion to a year old game, hence they do DLC.

I believe it is more about impulse purchases, low prices and quick content that people will click without a thought.

Sounds cool but I wouldn't give my left nut for this, feel free to give up yours so we can get what we need.

I just want Mass Effect to stay the way it is with DLC and Expansions, no epdisodic type things.
