I'm punching and slicing a lot lately: Melee drell assassin and Shadow (HM as primary attack). Drell vanguard with the claymore is fun. I enjoy the Slayer but he's so host dependent it can be a chore.

Trying to use the paladin more but meh.

Otherwise various biotic kits - drell adept, asari adept, etc.

I'm a Grenadier who specializes in getting grenades to go in ways they shouldn't or wouldn't normally through pool/billiards shot like throws. then I bat clean-up with CC,Harrier, or Shotgun to eliminate the survivors (if any).

I'm a mid- long range sniper, i only go in CQB if the kit requires it to be effective, A fury/Valkyrie or any Vanguard will be always knee-deep in enemy blood, while my salarians, turians and Quarians are Scopin' and Droppi'n all the time.

I do it all, but I have to say I like brawlers Krogans and batarians mostly. Definitely a fan of the Geth soldier tank-like with the ability to dodge.

I keep throwing myself at the enemy until they get tired of killing me. When they're weak and if my team hasn't already left from all the reviving, we strike!

I prefer to help the team by sabotaging the enemy or making the team be able to fight more (Engineers and the Kroguard basically).

Unfortunately I usually have to carry, so I can't be the fun classes.

Depends on the character. I tend to be very aggressive with some characters like the Volus Sentinel, N7 fury, infiltrators or Vanguards. With soldiers, adepts and engineers I tend to play more midrange with an assault rifle but again it really depends on the character because I will use some guns no some characters but not on others. I'll spec some for power damage and others for heavy weapon damage. I don't really do melee builds

I like Geth Trooper specced for weapons platform and Geth infiltrator with a valiant. Being able to see through walls and shoot through them makes for some interesting gameplay. I prefer to run and gun rather than take hard cover.

Support mostly. My best kit is the Human engineer, believe it or not. I max my Combat Drone with rockets, take out barriers/shields with Overload, and burn off armor with Incrinerate. I quickly found this build to work on nearly every faction, even the Collectors.

I really seem to enjoy glass cannon builds. Also like dedicated sniper roles. I would like to try the grenade heavy N7 but I haven't unlocked it. Throwing a ton of grenades can be fun.

 I either like to be tactical (Sniping, classic engineer powers like sab, overload, drones, etc), or practical (Guns, rockets, and grenades).

Absolute do not like spellcasting, so I tend to stay away from biotics, and the fire and ice engineering spells, though I make an exception for my female quarian, just for the sake of me loving quarians.

I'm going straight up damage, i'd rather use my guns than spells.

I prefer a defensive playstyle.. Letting the enemy push me into a corner and fighting to survive.   

I end up being last person standing on waves quite often, simply because I know when to hit cover to avoid getting downed.   It's fun to clutch...

Though that completely changes when I'm playing vanguard.... THEN I'm taking the fight to the enemy.

CQC in almost every game. Part of it is because I can't aim. Part of it is because you can't aim when I'm that close. Part of it is YOU GOTTA SEE THE WHITES OF THEIR EYES AND LOOK'EM DOWN WHILE THEY DIE.
