This reminds me of one of my Hubbies favortie jokes....bear in mind he lives in a house filled with females, two of which are teens...

I'm female and my canon Shepard is female because I find it easier to relate, also Jennifer Hale and Garrus as LI option. I also play lots and lots of other Sheps of both genders.

For DA:O my canon is male because Morrigan

I am Female, and I play male characters for around the same reason most girls play women because I find male characters easier to roleplay and relate to, go figure. I can and do play females, (I wanted an asexual romance with someone and only a woman can romance Sebastian with sadly very sexual lines) but much prefer to play male.

Female, and I created two FemSheps, one of which is my "canon" Shep (third is a Male Shepard).

I prefer playing female characters in most games, however, not just Mass Effect. I also played a "main" female Warden in DAO and a main female Hawk in DAII. I did not create male characters in DAO nor DAII, but I did create one BroShep for Mass Effect. In other games like Elder Scrolls or some MMOs I play I usually create female characters. I mostly create female characters because it feels natural to me and I can "relate" to that character better as I role-play them (when I do, because I don't always role-play my characters).
