I am currently on the section of the game during which you recruit the Dalish Elves. I was exploring the Ruins where the Werewolves live and at some point came across a child ghost. During the conversation with it I was ported to room on the lower level of the ruins (on the map). There are three coffins in the rooms with armor in them, and one burnt coffin with a skeleton in it on some altar like structure surrounded by two book stands on either side of it. The only exit is a metal door to the South of the room which is locked. Ive spent nearly four hours running around in a circle in this room and it has come to my attention that I may have arrived there through a glitch as I am 100% sure there is no way to open the locked metal door. Both my save data and auto save data are saved in this room as well, meaning Im stuck. Is there someway to force my party out of the ruins and back somewhere else? I ask this bc Ive devoted around 17 hours to the game and really would like to avoid starting over.

wow sounds like a glitch, as those doors only open to a ritual you have to do to open them. always keep multiple saves. wow, that does suck. I feel for you.

ya thought so. ive already restarted. ill just skip past the text, should shave off 10 hrs..lol...

This was why I ended up with a policy of a save point at the start of every dungeon, and another for saving within a dungeon. I got the same glitch and tried two or three times with the same result before just changing my dialogue options and chosing to leave through dialogue. Of course, this time around, I'm playing a rogue so I don't have to drag Leliana around all the time, so maybe it won't matter. I got lucky in that I had saved right before the battle and didn't save after it. Phew!
