I haven't tried it, personally, but I've heard that people can import a BG:EE Character to BG2.

Yes you can. The new NPCs from EE won't carry over (duh) and you need to resize your portrait files (L 210x330 M 110x170 S 38x60) or choose new ones from stock.
Just got a copy of BG2 from GOG (not sure where my box copy went) and installed all the fix packs and tweaks. Now I'm looking for some kind of GUI mod so the inventory use more than one column.
Does anyone know any?

Yea, it actually probably works better than importing from vanilla BG since BGEE uses the BG2 rules about weapon profiencies etc.

That's very cool news. Been playin' a fighter with EE and was kinda bummin' cause I thought I'd have to 'reconstruct' him using Shadowkeeper or something.
Btw, I've never used Shadowkeeper, so that in itself, would have posed a challenge.
It's great to know I can import my dude over and start whaling on the monsters in BGII.
Don't look now Irenicus, but Zbyszko's coming!
