I'm sure this is an easy question, but what is some of the gear in my inventory shaded red for? I know some items are colored to depict that certain characters cannot use them, but I have a bunch of armor with a red tint background on my characters. I just can't remember what it is for.

DLC items generally have red backgrounds in the inventory, is that it?
