Knights Of The Old Republic will actually become 10 years old this year. That’s a decade old game that still plays damn fine.

"The game was released on the Xbox on July 15, 2003 in North America and on September 12, 2003 in Europe. The PC version was released on November 19, 2003 in North America and on December 5, 2003 in Europe." - Wikipedia

BioWare, here’s a tip. Take the source for KoTOR, fix whatever minor
issues there are (video cutscene playback is borked/bugged etc.).
Make it handle widescreen. And make sure it runs on a
modern system and Windows 7 and 8.

Release it as the 10th Anniversary
edition or something, add a soundtrack album and other goodies etc.

Sell it as a digital download, lots of profit for very little effort, no discs or boxes or nor logistics issues.

The KoTOR fan community will market the **** out of it I’m sure (not to mention rebuy it as long as the price isn't insane).

And if the buget/manpower is an issue. (really BioWare?, just put 3-4 guys on this and it's done by summer for sure) then why not kickstart the thing. Minimum budget for a 10th anniversary fix'er'upper of KoTOR. And add stretch goals for extra stuff, improvements beyond the basics needed. But her's the kicker. Those who fund a certain amount, also get the game.
Stretch goals could be overhauled textures, higher bitrate voice files. Make the minigames optional (skipable to be exact), more polygons on stuff, more player character faces/looks maybe, and for any other possible stretch goals, kust look at the mod sites and you'll see what people are interested in.

Anyway...

Happy 10th anniversary Knights Of The Old Republic.

I'm with u bro, bioware ought to come out with an Anniversary or Enhanced Edition for the Xbox users. I feel we are owed for them screwing us out of having the Old Republic for console; just thinking about it pisses me off!

MMO's really don't work on consoles.

This needs to happen. My KotOR game no longer works and its not exactly easy to find for Xbox.

This isn't a contact point to reach anyone inside of Bioware, not even any ex-Biowarians, like Stanley. They don't drop in here. Seeing an Obsidian developer recently come by (KotOR2) was really a breath of fresh air, though.

You could try sending a PM to Chris Priestley, but the ball is really in the Walt Disney Corporate court. They own all the rights. There still is a forum over there on the old LucasArts site, but Disney apparently has very little interest in anything more adult than 3rd-4th grade age.

Here's the current real KotOR forum at Lucas Arts

With it being KOTOR's 10th anniversary and Halo having released its own Anniversary edition two years ago I think it would be good for Bioware to release one with upgraded graphics and all the DLC added, I know I buy it if it happens by November 18th which is the exact day it came out in 2003.

DICE is getting ready to design their own individual take on Battlefront, so contact them. I don't know how extensive their license for the SW universe might be, but surely on their forums, you can find out.

This needs to happen, this is one of the greatest games I have ever played. A tenth anniversary edition would be amazing.

I would love for this to happen. I'm disappointed by the MMO route that was taken (as well as many of others, I would imagine). It should have remained the heavy, story-based series it was.

How about while they're at it, restore all of the deleted content, build it into the story like it was supposed to be, then add it to the Anniversary Edition

KotOR's sequel was never Bioware's / EA's.  It was always Atari's / Obsidian's, and was never even an allowed topic for forum discussion on the Bioware forums.
