Hello Everyone:
I wanted to ask you guys a question if you don't mind.I am a skilled Computer Builder having designed and built my first Computer in 1995.I love the Mass Effect Series and have been trying out some of these Higher Graphics Mods which all use Texmod.
I have no issues playing any Games on my Rig.I have proper Cabling Tied Up, Multiple Fans (sucking and blowing) giving good Air Flow, and plentty of Space in my Metal Rack Mounted really large Server Computer Case.Usually my Temps are idling around 25- 35 Centigrade and when playing Games goes up to no more than 62 Centigrade.
Using that Texmod with a few of these nice ME Mods causes the Temps to rise way the blank up !!! Only thing that does that !!! I seen Temps as hgh as 86 Centigrade which is getting a bit to hot to handle.
Wonder why this keeps happening.Love to be able to use these kind of Mods but not if they are going to Toast my Rig.
Here are my basic Specs:

Really huge Metal Server Rackmount Case
Supermicro Server Motherboard
Intel Core i7 Extreme
6 Gigs of 1333mhz low timing Ram Certified by Supermicro
Auzentech PCI Audio Card
EVGA 560ti Video Card
Five Intel SSD's.Three are the 520's, one is a 530, and one is a SLC Server Drive.
Corsair 850 Watt Good Power Supply
Asus DVD recorder/drive
Five various Fans
Windows 7 64-BIT Professional
Bunch of Externals for Storage
M-Audio Firewire 1814 I believe which I use for Audio Work

That is basically it.I got no issues on my rock solid Box.Never seen a blue screen as they say.My box is Virus Free and it works great.Hasn't failed me yet except for this pesky issue.Probably just a suide effect of the not so developed Texmod App.
Thanks in Advance.Wonder what some of the real Computer Gurus here would think.

When the GPU overheats there is really only 2 things to do:

Swap default fan on graphic card with a better one.
Lower clockrate on GPU.

This is of course assuming the averall cabinet cooling is okay(and there is plenty of room around GPU cooler), and graphic card driver isnt a bugged version or something.

Many of these mods uses high resolution textures that increase the workload on the GPU, but graphic card should really be able to handle 100% workload without overheating with default cooler.
