I hope they carry this on, it would give another reason to play another class other then soldier.

Didn't know that it was exclusive until later on the forum. This was a fun thing, hope the do more of these things. I most often play engineers, but believe that this class is not played as often as the others, or that is at least what I have heard earlier.

Scenario
You are accompanied by your two chosen squadmates and a group of 30 mercenaries.
You have arrived on a mining colony that holds a device that could help destroy Harbinger.
But in order to get to the device you must get past large numbers of reaper forces. Each class has a unique action in this scenario that will help Shepard's squad and the mercenaries reach their destination.
Adept Shepard would provide a field to protect a group of random mercenaries who are helping you out.
Engineer Shepard would activate giant sentry turrets to help gun down reaper forces.
Soldier Shepard would use adrenaline rush to a control pannel on the other side of a door that is rapidly closing.
Vanguard Shepard would biotically charge into a group of enemies then follow up with nova. Soon the reaper forces are focusing entirely on Shepard, whilst the mercenaries safely kill large numbers of reaper minions without getting shot at.
Infiltrator Shepard has a problem. Shepard must reach a control station near where the reaper husks are targeting civilians. He has only 11 seconds (which is how long the tactical cloak lasts) to reach the control station, shutdown a massive shield generator and then leave, before detection. If the sensors within the building senses an intruder, the defence system will kill Commander Shepard.
Sentinel Shepard generates an omnitool enhanced biotic field that will boost the power of a massive cannon. Without this field the cannon would do okay damage the nearby harvesters. But with this field, the cannon can now do double the damage.

So class specific actions in the next DLC?

I would at least like to know what you find so uninteresting about the scenario.
Better still you could provide your own alternative.

It's too bad they decided to put it in for a class I don't play in a DLC I didn't buy.

if it was against Reapers, it would be more desirable.Abraham_uk wrote...

I personally am not hoping for more Collectors, they were very boreing to fight in ME2 (In my opinion anyways)

I think having class-based interrupts is a cool idea.

Yup.
It'll be interesting to see how creative they get with the idea, if they elaborate on it with the next piece of DLC (assuming it's something worth looking into).

Lol, yeah I enjoyed that scene. My Shep made that General look like a complete ***. She also pretty much disses most of her squad.
It was an appropriate moment for an Engineer-exclusive interrupt. I would love for more class-related content.

meh not impressed, gameplay is fine they should focus more on the story.
This could enhance storytelling versatility (and replayability).
