meh not impressed, gameplay is fine they should focus more on the story.

This could enhance storytelling versatility (and replayability).

100% agree.

I seem to consistently be in the minority on this issue.

It's not a good idea.

I think the Omega DLC was just a taste of what's to come for DLc too, namely that it will suck ass.

Okay I think they were testing that class interrupt to see if people would like it and a lot did. My theory is they will now put it into the next dlc  since they realize many people like class interrupts (not just engineer interrupt). What do you think

Yeah, something a lot of people suggested and wanted right when Mass Effect 2 was confirmed to have QTEvents... One of the last DLC for the final game in the trilogy seems like a great place to check out if the community likes it.

I wouldn't mind some more background dialogues as well.

Then again, I'd prefer a purpose to the DLC more than the fluff, since Omega was kind of pointless.

The interrupt doesn't acually do anything, If you waith through the dialogue you get the same result.

I would, however like to have class-specific dialogue and carry a weapon in cutscenes other than the ugly default assault rifleand the ugly default pistol.

It's like Dragon Riding in Skyrim. Everyone requested it. (Including, unfortunately, professional reviewers.) Everyone thought it would be awesome.

It sucked.

For the love of God, no meaningful class-specific dialogue. The last thing I want is my character's personality defined by his class. That's less choice, not more.

The AI is so bad , I wound up fighting Miraak and both dragons on foot because my serpentine dragon would not attack them or get off the ground.

This would be just as bad if it was seriously (more than one or two minor interrupts) implemented.

How is it less? It's an added choice due to class.

If you propose not having class-specific dialogue you would get nothing at all but the normal cutscene, now you have a choice between both.

I don't see it as a single class getting dialogue. I see it as dialogue getting taken away from five other classes. I don't play as a engineer, yet I very much like my character to have fairly technical discussions, such as on the Geth Dreadnought. I don't want my character to be a thug just because I play as a soldier.

Even without the interrupt, it doesn't play out as him being a dumb grunt. It's just that engies have highly specialist knowledge in these fields, and even a normal smart person would be either uninformed or too slow.

So you're suggesting Bioware should make all the (possibly) future class-specific interupts available for all classes? Man, that's going to be a mess. Press A for Vanguard interupt, Press B for Engineer interupt, etc.

I'm suggesting they avoid them altogether and simply focus on good dialogue and cutscenes for all players.

Although they'd have to tread carefully, it could be done for every class. Ask alpha protocol.

The only problem I had with watching the Engineer interrupt on youtube, was that when playing Omega, my Vanguard Shepard felt like a moron for not being able to do it.

That's like saying my character who specializes in shotguns and CQC should also be an expert sniper, because it provides more content.

Or that everyone should have the same council in all of their games because dialouge and cutscenes shouldn't be just paragon or renegade choice exclusive.

They need more uniqueness, and this is one very promising way to do it.

Besides, as it stands now all shepards are pretty much soliders, since they never use anything but their guns in cutscenes and shepard being a biotic was only brought up once in the entire series.

But vanguards aren't trained in electroincs, and reactor control. Would you feel stupid IRL if you couldn't say... operate a nuclear power station?

Your vanguard is a CQC expert, not a technical specialist.

Someone who trained as a EOD shouldn't have the same level of skill as a sniper.

A military IT specialist should not have the same level of skills and endurance in combat as a pararescue man.

And a combat specialist without technical proficency should not have the same level of expertise with programing as a tech specalist.

So it makes a lot of sense really, but I can see why it might be a little bad.
