......and yet the biggest drawback with tactical cloak that totally defeats the argument in favour of nerfing it is the simple fact and i emphasize THAT ENEMIES CAN SHOOT AT YOU EVEN IF YOUR INVISIBLE EVEN WHEN YOUR IN SIGHT RANGE. IN MASS EFFECT 2 THERE WAS NONE OF THAT CRAP- ASIDE FROM GETTING DANGEROUSLY CLOSE ENOUGH TO ENEMIES, ONCE YOU WERE INVISIBLE YOU BECAME INVISIBLE TO THE ENEMY!

Some people like tjhe OP have nothing better to do than to only encourage bioware to do stupid nerfs. That the last thing we need.

.and that you invisible and the fact enemies can shoot at you in me3 even if you disappear from a far, when you move from the point they saw you before you disappeared, no matter how far away from the enemy that saw you it like they can still 'see' you. which if anything defeats the purpose of the cloak. Why did Bioware decide to foolishly place this great handicap and disadvantage on tactical cloak???

Hmm... maybe you are not moving around as much in TC. They barely shoot me when I'm in TC and run around to another place.

Also, You can still get hit in TC in ME2. I was once surrounded by a buttload of husks that pummeled me while a scion was taking shots from afar.

And it's not as bad as what they did to the Tactical Armor from ME2 to ME3.

Was wondering that too. If someone is using a (working-as-intended) skill well on your team, you win! If you don't want to use said (working-as-intended) skill, you don't have to...and you still win!

Had to add the "working-as-intended" before someone tried to apply the above to missile glitching or whatever.

I just posted the comment I am leaving in another thread that is exactly like this one going on right now:

Tactical Cloak is not the issue with MP. The numerous glitches and lag issues are. I would rather see people invest their time into trying to get those changed instead of the only useful thing about infiltrators. TC is very good, but the infiltrators are all very weak and susceptible to damage, and other players following them around while they are in TC (which doesn't work half the time anyway as most enemies can spot you on the other side of the map.) Once you get the one shot off, you come out of TC and do not receive that bonus until your powers cool down. So its not like you are getting your damage bonuses the entire match. If you even consider TC "overpowered," it only helps balance the many glitches in the game that can really screw up matches.

Massively outscoring all those infiltrators should not be possible if TC was the IWIN GOD ability people in this thread are making it out to be.  I say we nerf whatever builds/weapons you were using, clearly they are what is overpowered. You just showed proof, afterall.

Exactly.. Either way, at the end of the day, you get your exp and credits no matter where you place on the "scoreboard". I don't see how all this nerfing shenanigans "balances" the game besides gimping their non-native class and feeding egos.

It's helpful to compare tactical cloak to similar buffs like hunter mode to understand whether it's balanced or not. In my opinion? It could use a slight shield debuff and the melee thing is a little silly. Other than that? S'fine.

Yeah, played by a guy who is exceptionally good with her and has almost double the OPs packs everyone else has. And don't tell me it doesn't matter because he certainly didn't end that game with 5 ops packs remaining.

It is not my intention to attack Link. I think he plays great but it is just a very poor argument.

Ok then let's go with the overpowered list:

Kroguard, OMFG he has 40% DR all time, and when in Rage even MOOOAR. And OMFG he can restore his shields every 5 sec. OP

Demolisher: Spawn nuking a whole map in a fraction of second? WOOOOW Nerf NAOOOOO

MQE: Same as Demolisher but much more mobile and w epic debuff skill, OP as can be

Fury: nothing to say here, a walking BOOM BOOM STAGGER LOL machine.

Asari Adept: OMFG she eats phantoms for breakfast, dinner and lunch, NEEERF

Vanilla H.Engineer: chaining fire-tech-fire-tech explosions, Satan would cry OP.

Batarians: almost invincible while Falcon Pawnching Rofl MAO OP as hell...

man i can keep going, just name any class and it becomes op. If u whine too much about score, i can tell u that Infils are not gods, they depend heavily on their guns, are single-target bursters and TC invisibilty part doesn't work 75% of the time. Would i take a TC that makes u untargetable, but only gives u for example a 50% Sniper Dmg buff? yes i would any time, but as it is now, perfectly fine. Go home.

Powers do not gain TC's damage bonus unless the Bonus Power evolution is taken.

If the only reason people like it is because it makes it easy for them, why am I, considering I don't like playing infiltrators, against changing it?

I personally find infiltrators insipidly boring and hate the aggro dump I always seem to get from them, but I don't think it needs changing.

On topic... I gotta say I find it hard to top the scoreboard using Human Infiltrator. Well, I am propably doing it WROOOOOOOOOOONG, but still. Don't think the power is that OP.
