I cant read computer screens or TV screens for long lenghts of time before my eyes start watering and hurting.

So as you might guess, I skip much of the codex entries as they were not Voice Overed like in Mass Effect (big mistake IMO).

So after looking at sooooo much nonsence. Can someone tell me if there is a project or mod available that simply introducing a good voice over reading the codex so players can listen and learn the back ground of the game (beyond books which I already read).

Thanks in advance if anyone can answer this question

There's probably no mod that does that (yet), but if you want to read the text easier, you may want to try the mod I'm working on here: http://social.bioware.com/group/855/.

I highly doubt this would ever be done. The sheer number of entries would require so many man-hours of time to record. It would be a rather large download as well. Then, there is the issue of how you access the content to play it.

I suspect it may actually be theoretically possible though - at least you could probably modify the UI script to play and stop (pausing is doubtful) the VO through the fscommands it uses for other UI noises.

I'll look into that if somebody else can get James Earl Jones on board.

I can't remember if you could turn that off in Mass Effect though (besides the volume control)... I just usually find it annoying if you can't and you want to read at your own pace instead of a slow narrator's.
