I kept thinking, and is a in joke among me and my friends, of the best Con Game ever where a mage hides behind a bush around Orzamar casting levitate on neaby dwarves, making them think they are falling into the sky, but Luckily! a friend nearby lassos the dwarf and offers them a "magical token" that will keep them from falling into the sky. And of course the mage ends the spell.
Somehow I think Varric would approve
This happened in our P&P game of Dragon Age. It always makes us laugh imagining dwarves clutching fake amulets that they sold expensively. Even makes us laugh about, how many dwarves does it take to float over Lake Calenhad, as all these lassoed levitating dwarves carring a basket with the characters.
I am sorry if this is in the wrong place, it is dragon age related, but as far as I know there isn't a section to talk about the role playing game.

I found your idea fairly entertaining and wish the writers had thrown it in. (This is just a pretty dead board by the way.)

Good idea, but hard to carry out. The dwarves are resistant to magic, and if they caught him, the mage would be a smear on the floor.

Only 10% likely they are hardly immune, but thank you. It was fun to carry out. But no the dwarf over Calenhad was the in game joke, but they really did do it for awhile, the con game, til they were caught. They still do it occaisonally to dwarves who keep looking up.
