EDIT: It's Volus, which I find  little boring.

I say we go for a more creative, alien feel, like "gaggle" of geese or a "parliament" of rooks.

Singular/plura   Plural group designation

Asari                    Jangle

Volus                   Avalanche

Krogan                Herd or Horde

Batarian              Vision

Salarians            Spindle

Vorcha                  Snarl

Hanar                    University

I have been struggling with this.

The simple answer is the following:

If the origin of Volus is Greek, it is "Voluses",

If the orign of Volus is Latin, it is "Voli".

Since Volus is neither a Latin or Greek word, we'll have to arbitrarily pick one.

How to do this? Suggestions?

I'm thinking Greek, because they seem more like a province to the Turian Latin Empire.

Also, they still exist.

There was a whole thread dedicated to proper plurals of the ME races (and other linguistic nuances of ME universe) a week or so ago. Humans and all "-rian" ending races (turians, salarians, quarians, batarians) have "-s" as plural, while asari, elcor, geth, hanar, krogan, vorcha and volus' plural form is the same as singular.

It depends on the class.
A mixture of classes is called a Volclan. Team unity and whatnot.

Adepts - Voli
Engineers - Volus
Sentinels - Voluses
Vanguards - Grapeshot
