Or possibly even get fired or suspended?
I will admit I am contemplating ways to fake illness so I can more time to play this game.
Has Dragon Age caused you to miss schoo/work...

Fortunately the holidays was there, no need to call in sick for two weeks.

Hey you mean you bring DA to work and play with it at lunch time and perhaps overtime?

I don't skip, I just bring my laptop to school with me. Gym is for wussies. Although I did get in trouble for playing violent games, never mind the two guys behind me with a bong.

Not directly, but I did play the game if I happened to be in front of the computer when I was supposed to be at school. Actually, I suppose on launch day I did skip to play DA:O (was worth it)

Meh, my days of skipping are over. My patients wouldn't appreciate if I didn't show up because I wanted to game. That and if I don't work, I don't get paid, which puts a dent in the gaming budget. I have, however, lost way too much sleep playing this and other games.

Let's just say I had a sudden debilitating illness the first week of November

Won't lie I've missed a number of days already but I got this and haven't had much desire to bother with school it's already useless anyways .-. may as well play video games when there is nothing else to entertain.

Between furloughs and holiday time off last quarter, I got to play the game until I was sick of it, and then some.

It's pathetic I know, but I used an extra five days of vacation after the mandatory one week off my company requires most of its employees to take mainly because I wanted to finish the game up......

Luckily, I had 18 vacation days left for 2009 when DAO came out.

No. However, I am spending a lot of time playing it(instead of doing homework or studying), so it is interfering with school. Who cares though, it's Dragon Age.

Ah so sorry for all of you who have to go to work or school and can't sit and play the game all day like I can. It's so nice being 62, retired and single.

I haven't been sick/absent from school in like...ever.
I'm too undedicated to Dragon Age...I will try to make amends!
...I will sell my soul, and my third testicle!

I'm working only part-time, so I had enough time to play DA:O.
Years back, when I was playing Baldurs Gate 1, I told my boss on the phone, that I suffer from 'moral breakdown'. (Something these sick creatures at the start had sometimes, when they were fleeing the fight. Don't know how this spells right in english since this is not my native language).
The funny thing is, he laughed about it and said, "it's okay, if its over tomorrow".

I'm not at home right now and I'm going to be off to school on the 11th, away from my PC, so no Dragon Age for me until April...
I don't know how I'll survive. :*(

Nothing against the rules, but I did arrange to have my vacation time coincide with the release of the game. I wasn't very secretive about it, I told my boss exactly why I wanted my week off on that particular date and she was cool with it.

If you feel the need to skip school or get fired to play a video game, you need to rethink your life.
