 I would

Also this is NOT a thread about adding a new ending, I'm simply asking would you buy more dlc if they did afterwards

If IT or PT is confirmed. Although I would need to buy Levi and Omega first..

Why do people still think that they will get a new ending?

BioWare already stated they are done working on the ending, although, Bethesda did say the same thing about Fallout 3 and then they released Broken Steel (although I admit I do not know the entire story behind Broken Steel's release).

It would depend entirely on the quality of said ending DLC.

they won't but yes i would, cause it would show they finally got off of their high horse and listened to the outcry of many fans.

I doubt a new ending will calm the fanbase down anymore.

No. It would be incredibly stupid and would look very bad for Bioware to change their ending not once, but twice. They would rightfully be considered a joke if they did that. Yes yes, some people think they are a joke now, but Bioware is still one of the best story producing developers in the industry.

Depends on the ending. If I found it significantly better than what we've already got, absolutely.

Heck I bought Leviathan while riding the high of discovering MEHEM.

Yes, but it isn't necessary. I can always download MEHEM if it doesn't

They'd have to change it once to change it twice

Besides, nothing says they can't add more endings.  Options are what RPGs are all about after all.

Yes, as I had planned on buying all dlc for Mass Effect 3 and I will continue to stick with that plan.

They're done with the endings. How many times do they or anyone else need to repeat that they're done with the endings? The final SP DLC won't do jack with the ending. If you're still interested in mass effect in general but not so much in the latest installment or it's dlc then I'd simply suggest holding on to your money. Once ME4 hits the shelves, check it out. Watch youtube, play a demo, read reviews and then decide. If it's awesome you can always go out and buy it and some extra merchandise or whatever. And if it's not you can always walk away laughing.

Look at the DLC's so far.

There's no reason to expect anything beyond a side mission that adds some war assets.

There were a lot of clear changes in the EC. A new ending, the Relays not being destroyed completely, etc.

That isn't what people are clamoring for. They want the Catalyst gone, or they want victory via conventional means, or the Crucible's choices to go away, etc...that's what can't happen.

Never thought the endings had being changed, just expanded on. As i am on PS3 i have to make do with destroy as i find its the closest i can get to a good ending. Synthesis makes me feel like a hypocrite as you argue against it with Saren back in ME. Above all else what gives me the right as Shepard to force this change on billions of people.
So if a post ending dlc appeared much like Broken Steel for Fallout 3, I think it would finally stop the endings of ME3 being a problem.

I  don't think the whiners actually payed any attention to the game. The whole point is you can't win by conventional means it's impossible.  They just want a easy predictable ending I liked that the ending was more metaphysical and different

Yup, it's the Extended Cut.  They added some things, "clarified" a few details.  But that's all.  One could argue that Refuse is new (or perhaps just a "screw you" to fans who wanted more options) But the endings were still the endings and were not significantly altered.

Besides like I said, just allowing for new options would likely win a lot of people back.  Not replacing the current endings with new ones, but simply allowing new outcomes.

an easy and predictable ending would at least fit to the shallow and corny story, who is full of clishés.

To answer the OP, a new ending would be the only means to convince me to buy any of ME3's DLC. I've no interest in Leviathan or Omega while the ending remains as it is. I have From Ashes anyway because I was enough of a sucker to fork out for the Collector's Edition. Great investment that was...
