Holy crap! How many times do I have to hear "they're done with the endings blah blah blah"?! Everyone knows what Bioware said! You don't have to say it over and over! The OP is only saying, "What if...?" He's not saying that he thinks there'll be new endings! For the love of God!

I hear they planned to implement that, but it was cheaper not to.

I would not buy premium ending DLC. The only exception would be if it's actually pre-ending DLC with it's own story and mission that later affects the endings.

If it actually returned to lore and was an actual ending to the themes and journey we'd taken from the first game... if it's just more psuedo intellectual garbage then no. I boutgh Leviathan out of curiousity (and had free points from a gift) and it just wasn't worth the time. THe gameplay was still good, but again, all it did was make the story more nonsensical and the starbrat and catalyst even more of a joke than before.

It's like the writers aren't even paying attention anymore and just trying to come up with things that they think are "deep" and "cool", not realising the ideas just aren't good enough. Or they simply do not mesh with the atmosphere and themes the first two games so clearly set up and that the third seemed to be following til that laughable monstrousity was unleashed upon the poor unsuspecting fanbase.

Depends upon how good said ending is: if it is an admission that the originals were bad and always were, and that they don't intend to make any further use of them, then maybe. If not: absolutely not.

Also: all that is beside the point since no new ending will be coming.

How about an ending DLC similar to Fallout: Broken Steel or Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal, which adds, say, 5 to 10 hours of gameplay and story? 

I'm just asking, I'm genuinely curious as to why some people would consider any hypothetical post-ending dlc or expansion objectionable?

Edit: Although I do agree that an expansion containing both Pre and "Post" ending content would possibly be the best option.

Sure, I think a pre-ending DLC with its own story and mission that led to a fixed ending would be the best thing they could release. So let's have that.

...BioWare officially stated there will be no changes to the ending. There will be no new endings. Is it so hard to remember that, and avoid creating the same topic again and again?

The EC was it. That is the show folks...

However, if they ever did give another ending dlc - for whatever reason - I prob wouldn't buy the DLCs until I believe they are at the price worth paying for them. $15 for Omega is a bit much. $10 for Leviathan is very much worth it.
