...BioWare officially stated there will be no changes to the ending. There will be no new endings. Is it so hard to remember that, and avoid creating the same topic again and again? :)

funny, Tully A says adding context to the ending changes it....now isn't that what the EC did?

or is it OK to change it only in the measure bioware thinks it is OK to?

You mean the same Bioware that said our choices in both the first two games would matter?  Or that no ending will be the same for every player?   Those promises were never broken... nope.  Nuh uh.

No changes = no change to the ending concept.
No new endings = no change to the ending concept.

Some ending-related content is ok ONLY if it will not change ending concept.
EC was ok.
Any nonsence like "successful refuse" will never happen.

There won't be a new ending. If you haven't already, you need to come to terms with that or move on.

I would not buy premium ending DLC. The only exception would be if it's actually pre-ending DLC with it's own story and mission that later affects the endings.

How about an ending DLC similar to Fallout: Broken Steel or Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal, which adds, say, 5 to 10 hours of gameplay and story?

I'm just asking, I'm genuinely curious as to why some people would consider any hypothetical post-ending dlc or expansion objectionable?

Edit: Although I do agree that an expansion containing both Pre and "Post" ending content would possibly be the best option.

If it's a complete Priority Earth expansion then sure. But I'm not paying $10 for cinematics ;).

ok, then pray tell how much of a change is adding a single slider confirming Shepard's survival in high EMS destroy?

If a single slider appeared that confirmed Shepard survived. That would shut me up and i wouldn't ever mention subject again, case closed etc etc.

Depends on the new ending. Does it actually do what I want it to? I might be tempted to if that was the case.

If the dlc affected the ending further, or was shown to reward more than just 300 assets. Otherwise, what's the point?

That's fair enough. Thanks for the answer. I would very much like to see an expansion to the endings, but even if that happens, I'm still waiting for fan reviews to see if they are decent value for money.

No. I don't like the ending, but it's been 10 months, whining about it is played out.

The quality of each DLC is going to determine if I buy it or not.

I liked the idea behind Leviathan enough that I bought the DLC, it was fun enough that I seen no reason to complain.

I didn't like what I was reading about Omega before it came out, and then the reviews of the DLC didn't do anything to sway me to purchase it, so I have yet to purchase Omega.

The next DLC, AFAIK there is no information about it yet other then what the guy they hired to do music said. So at this point, I have no idea if I will purchase it or not yet.

The only thing I hope for is, that they actually listen to what the fans are saying and make this DLC something special. I really hope it's not another lame 90 minute shootfest with random characters has my squad that I don't care about.

What we were led to expect:

Image IPB

What we got:

Image IPB

If we got another ending option why would it matter to anyone anyway? There is no canon ending to ME3. If Bioware made another ending option for say the refuse option + high ems Destroy and Shepard woke up on Earth under rubble instead of on the Citadel and the battle continued and raged on to a more traditional ending with a boss battle of some sort and a victory with a reunion scene (high ems gets this), why would anyone object? You got your closure with Control or Synthesis.

Even if this were contingent on having all of the other DLC for the game I'd get it. It would make the game replayable for me.

Well if they do give us a new ending and expect us to pay for it, then it better be a full blown expansion and I might even buy Leviathan. You know the garbage DLC that forshadows the Garbage ending with more faulty logic. Never will buy Omega though 15 dollars for no real content? No... the 15 dollar price tag shows what they think of their fans, drones who buy mediocre product for more pew pew. If you want your moneys worth buy Dragonborn you get more content that way.

Game needs more than another Extended Cut. It needs Director's Cut that will affect the whole game.

I gave up buying Bioware DLC a long time ago. If I can get the gist of it off of YouTube, there is no reason at all to buy such content.

I would hardly expect this to be free. You want free you get the EC. You want a nice well done DLC you pay for it. Me? I want a nice well done DLC. I will pay for it. I will then buy Leviathan, and Omega.

And Bioware should take note that I do not hate them. I am not a hater. I did buy ME1, ME2, and ME3 for my WIN XP PC that's a Quad Core that I decided to get a decent graphics card for. I'll be getting some ME2 DLC for that. All of the ME3 DLC will go on the PC. I got them because I can max out the graphics and see what it was supposed to look like.
