I just had mine. Something like 50 minutes total. Waves seemed to go on forever. Host changed twice. Ammo boxes not working (FB Dagger Hazard vs Reapers), Used up like 20 of medigels,rockets,ops packs and thermal clip packs. My god. It was awful. I expressed my feelings over the mic once the match was done. it was a miracle of biblical proportions that we actually managed to extract. Well some of us anyway...

Platinum with randoms is a chore.

I won't even touch plat unless I have a friend or two in the lobby, because otherwise it's an exercise in frustration.

Lag has been the cause of worst experience - on gold you can sort of cope with a bit of lag, on platinum it can really break your game.

Joined an already running game. 3 things happend at once:
-everyone else was dead
-I was surrounded by enemies
-fired of one rocket in a "OH ****"-reaction before I was downed...and was damage leader after that one rocket *facepalm*

Did a UUG with 3 friends awhile back. Got Reapers/Rio (We don't do the box of shame, fyi.) and got trolled with objectives. Wave 3: Middle Hack, Wave 6: LZ Hack, Wave 10: Middle Hack.
Needless to say, we did not finish. >_>

I've had that happen with a level 5 character.  Host left, I was left alone.  I lasted about 30 seconds.

I play platinum with pugs sometimes. So I have quite a few bad experiences.

Middle Hack is easy there. Especially if you happen to have a volus on the team. Unfortunately most people dont know to stay down by the stair and not upstairs on the platform of death. I always say to people to stay down by the stairs. Usually helps and the ones getting killed upstairs will learn their lesson lol. LZ hack is much worse.

I honestly don't play Platinum at all (I think i've only done 2 or 3 Platinum matches in total, I prefer Gold) but my worst Platinum experience would easily have to be my second one.

It was U/U/P. We rolled Collectors and I groaned inwardly when I saw this, but I went with it anyway. In hindsight, I should have just quit the match as I knew what would happen at the end but for whatever reason I didn't. Kudos to my three squadmates, they were absolutely fantastic and we only went down three times in total. I was really enjoying myself and I briefly forgot about the affliction affecting the Collectors.

Then inevitable happened. We were halfway through Wave 10 and our PS3's froze. I knew this was going to happen so I guess it didn't come as any great surprise, but it was my second ever Platinum match. We were so close! I actually screamed "NO!" at my TV and I almost threw my controller out the window.

Since then, I have avoided playing against the Collectors like the plague. And to this day, BioWare still hasn't fixed the Collector/Freezing issue affecting the PS3. It's disgraceful.

This was before Retaliation was added and Voli were nothing more then a rumor. First hack was fine, but the one of the other two people were er... Not quite Plat ready yet so.. 3.5 people isn't fun. xD

Searched for a silver game to level up my lvl 1 turain soldier. Got placed in Cerberus/Glacier Hazard/Platinum. I had a bad time.

You being impatient, not wanting to wait for full lobby. Then you just start, waiting for ppl to join midgame who naturally use no consumables since they dont want to load into rio with them. Now these poor level 1 and 2 dudes who have no clue about anything and are on "RANDOM" for difficulty load into your game. You dont manage to carry them and die.

Most anytime i get dropped into rio/p it goes long because ppl wont leave the box and fight. I have no issue with farming but I hate getting dropped into that mess

I quit RRP without fail. I don't want any part of that mess.

The worst part about PUGing Plat is weeding through the terrible lobbies.
