Funny thing, I have enough money in my bank account to buy you the bow I use.
But if anything I'd send it over to Bio HQ for them to get some ideas on you know, how to implement important parts of a bow, like you know, strings.

One thing they had in another game I've played, not DA, had a bonus depending on the type of weapon you used. On dragon, bolts from crossbows did more damage than arrows. Arrows would do more damage than bolts on other types of mobs. It would be nice for something like this so the ranged weapon specialist could have fun altering ranged weapons for specific situations.
Also, it's a lot more enjoyable to work on attaining the game's best available weapons and adds to your gaming experience collecting all the goodies offered.

Good point.
It always bothered me how many bolts it carried, as well as being able to go automatic despite it not usually being so.

That's 'Magick Archer', my son. With magick, you apparently don't need a string.LPPrince wrote...
Surprised it wasn't mentioned that Mystic Archers in Dragon's Dogma also lacked bowstrings, but they have the excuse of firing magic instead of arrows

Me too. That's what I assumed Arcane Warrior would be in DAO, and was sad to find that it included no archery.LPPrince wrote...
I want Arcane Archers in DA: I.
It seems like a magic user would be better able to focus magic through a bow than by wielding an enchanted sword, but maybe I've been swayed by DD.

Arcane Rogues would be aces.
Reminds me of my favorite good ol dokkalfar in KoA, Alyn Shir.
If I could play someone like that who was-
A. Better dressed for the love of GOD
B. Used a bow
I'd be happy.
